Oakey Hospital

I could not thank the Oakey Ed department more if I tried. I’m such busy times over Christmas they went above and beyond for me. The care is excellent and making sure that I was fully aware of what I needed to do to heel correctly Thankyou again could not be more happier

I had to go to the hospital in Oakey Sunday evening for a tetanus injection due to an injury 20 min. before hand and as it had been quite some time since my last booster thought it prudent to get another.I found no-one available to let me in so I came back early the following morning.It was about 40 min. before two nurses asked what my problem was. They walked off saying they had to talk to another nurse.Almost an hr later I had had enough waiting and walked out saying to the receptionist that I had other things to do and I wasn't going to wait any more.I was the only patient waiting to be seen.I would like to know why (actually I have a pretty good idea why) as the only patient in the waiting room I had to wait almost 2hrs before walking out in disgust.

Very surprised with how clean and friendly this hospital is. Compared to Toowoomba base Hospital it's the Ritz. The food is great, the staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, communication is great and the services are fantastic. My mother looks a lot happier here.

I attended the emergency department at Oakey Hospital about six years ago where my health problem was diagnosed and my life was saved by a very professional doctor and medical team.My partner attended this hospital on the 22nd November 2015 and again received the very best care and treatment.I can only recommend that Oakey Hospital is as good as, if not better than, the treatment that I have previously experienced in private hospitals. From their doctors and nurses to their catering staff and cleaners I had nothing but the best of care and was treated with great respect and kindness.Very Well Done.
