Marlo Hideaway

What a wonderful motel this is, it has such a great feel to it which is a testament to the owners Bec and Jeff who have done a great job in refurbishing this gem of a place. A great location with a short stroll to the Marlo Hotel for dinner. Would highly recommend this motel, we will be back for sure!

My sister and I had an overnight stay. I had my elderly dog with me who was allowed to sleep in the room. Jeff and Bec were lovely. The heater was on in the room on arrival and bread, butter, jams and fresh milk were supplied for breakfast. Jeff even made a dinner reservation at the local hotel for us. Everything was very good and we would happily stay again.

What beautiful grounds in the gorgeous coastal town of Marlo. There is plenty of shade, a pool and lots of birds enjoying the large native trees. Jeff and Bec have worked wonders creating a tranquil mini resort. Don't be fooled by the 'motel' label.

What a great place to stay. We stayed for 5 nights in May and absolutely loved it. The rooms had everything we needed and if we ran out of anything Bec and Jeff were there to help. Both Bec and Jeff were very friendly and made it feel like we were staying with friends. Happy to answer any questions about the area or just have a casual chat.The property had a great outdoor area which we used to cook outside one night with the fire going.The accommodation is walking distance to a great park with bbqs which is great if you have a little one, we had dinner at the pub a few times and stopped for a coffee at the local cafe. Thanks for your hospitality!

Comfortable accommodation with every little detail taking care of. Rebecca and Jeff great hosts who go out of their way to make everybody stay as enjoyable as possible. The kitchen is well appointed and that is important to us and the outside barbecue area is peaceful in serene.

We had a wonderful stay. Jeff and Bec were best host. Accommodation very nice, newly renovated, lovely set up. Group kitchen area was a real plus. We were able to set up a campfire and use the camp kitchen. We highly recommend a stay here if going to Marlo. Thank you Jeff and Bec!

We stayed 4 nights. The self contained room is really well set up for cooking. The garden is attractive. Jeff & Bec are excellent hosts, happy to take on feedback. Just wished the weather was warmer, so that the pool could have been used. Would not hesitate to return.

You can tell Jeff and Bec are passionate about their Marlo Hideaway. Immaculately maintained. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Shower was strong and hot. Lovely touch with the little extras. Local ground plunger coffee and bread and jams. A beautiful place to stay would love to come back.

Marlo Hideaway is a fabulous motel in a beautiful part of Victoria. I usually just stay the one night with my family on the way home from camping, but this time we had 3 nights. The new owners Bec & Jeff are lovely and very helpful. Rooms are really comfy and the Smart TV includes NETFLIX. The facilities are fabulous including access to a free laundry and a fully equipped undercover outdoor bbq / cooking / entertaining area including a chiminea. It’s a short walk to the excellent Marlo Pub.
