Simpson Take Away
Grumpy and rude old lady serving. Moanong necause she didnt want to make souvlaki even though we didnt order one. The fish was inedible. It's cooked from frozen and was like cardboard. The Burger was a bug thick chunk of beef mince that was too thick to cook through. Got 2 stars because the chips were good. Also don't believe the closing times online. They just close when they feel like it.

Took in 8 workmates after work everything tasted amazing (potato cakes with chicken salt are next level) the BBQ Meatlovers was delicious and was HUGE! Pizza can be ordered after 5pm Wednesday to Sunday. They also had an amazing soft drink selection as well as candy plus great service.

The food was below standard and food was dried out ended up throwing it away 5 Km down the road , the owners or staff not very polite to their customers. shop was untidy.

Simpson Take Away
Came more than half an hour before they close and asked for fish and chips. They refused to make any and said they can't, but we can buy pre-made fish and chips, which were made several hours ago and were leftovers from another customer who was a no-show. Since all fish and chips shop close at 8pm and traveling to another town would take half an hour, we were left with no choice. While waiting for them to pack the stale fish and chips, another customer came in the shop 15 minutes before closing and bought a pizza. Another came in the store about the same time and ordered fish and chips and they MADE them fresh fish and chips!!! They told us that they couldn't without any explanation, but could provide food for everyone else. Shocked! Also, the quality was extremely poor, even for stale chips. The oil they use is disgusting, yuck!

I love a quick stop here to pickup a potato cake or two. I've only had their potato cakes and coffee. I'm sure the rest of the food is good too but the potato cakes are quite possibly the best in Victoria. Best I've ever had that's for sure!

No coffee between 11am-12pm. Too busy making prep for customers who may come in later. Sign out front shows coffee. Advertising shows coffee. Just don't ask for one tho. Rude, belligerent and aggressive. Won't go bacl

Nice casual stopover, worth a stop and hanging around with a nice little pond beside it and a historical site too.. I wish I could just stay back there and live rest of my life in such village..
