I have worked with a variety of public and private providers in my work supporting students/children/colleagues. I felt the need to thank the remarkable staff at Boutique Psychology and commend them on their unfailing professionalism and decided value for money. In addition to responding to my general queries about proper process and official requirements for verification and diagnoses, the staff were very specific in their clarification of the parameters of their respective roles and the legalities of diagnosis, prescriptions, medications, and potential/optional additional therapies when my inquiries ventured into the possibilities of potential diagnosis for specific disorders/conditions. This information has made my work supporting students with significant behaviour concerns and their families that much more effective as I have reliable, honest and timely advice in this area. One former student I continue to support is now a client of Boutique Psychology, as I was asked to find capable professionals to support her. Boutique Psychology ensured supports were put in place, plans were developed and appropriate strategies employed to best suit the needs of this person. At the time of writing, the positive changes are evident in this young person’s life. All of this was done in a timely manner and with the collaboration of this young person – Boutique is a truly human-centred, inclusive, professional and reliable service.

Unprofessional and awful. Issue after issue, and the admin person and Director were both so rude, both talked over me, both wouldn't listen and refused to acknowledge the impact of their unprofessionalism.- Appointment (telehealth) cancelled due to the practitioner being 'stuck in traffic'. This was annoying but not a huge concern. Rescheduled to later that day.- Practitioner no-show at the rescheduled telehealth appointment. After waiting in the room for 25 minutes, I called them to find out what was happening, they said their internet was down. When I asked why no-one contacted me to let me know, they admin person was rude and defensive - 'it's not our fault the internet is now' 'we can't do anything about it'. Well, you could. You could tether to someone's phone, work out which appointments were impacted and let people know. Just basic courtesy.- Issue with getting a report from them - the refused to provide the report until the final invoice was paid, I am waiting for the report (the service to be provided) before paying the invoice. Director called me up, spoke rudely to me, said they wouldn't provide the report until the payment was in their bank account and I was supposed to know this from discussion with the practitioner. Nope, this is not written anywhere and was not discussed anywhere. Basically demanding full payment before delivering the full service.- Biggest issue - during an assessment, the practitioner was filling in questionnaires and circled a different response to what I had answered numerous times. She answered some of the questions without even asking me, and when I pointed that out, she said 'oh it's similar to another question you already answered so I filled it in for you'. Um, no. No no no. I don't hold the practitioner responsible for this, she was otherwise very good. She was under time pressure to complete the assessment and was rushed, suggests the priority of the business is making money, not accuracy.I will be making a complaint to APHRA.Find someone more professional!
