JH Allan Reserve
Big playground with lots of things for my toddler to do. But the council really needs to cut the grass more often, as it's a breeding ground for snakes at this time of year.

The children's playground is fine, but the surrounding grassland is rubbish - uneven, unmown, not fit for any physical activity. The council says it's native grassland - an excuse for minimal maintenance and something our indigenous people would disown

Ok spot for dogs off lead but not quite fully fenced. More rubbish bins would be good. At the moment it's infested with small bugs that go all over you

Very large reserve providing children’s play equipment, large football oval with addition of a bocce ball court similar to British bowls and French pétanque. In the centre of the reserve is a club house and under cover seating.

The grass desperately needs to be mowed that grass is horrendous for hayfever sufferers and also a perfect hiding place for snakes in the coming monthsOther than that its a nice little park

Great playground with shade, but the council really needs to cut the grass. With the warm weather coming there's probably going to be snakes there

There is a soccer ground there surrounded by trees. It's mostly fenced off & you are allowed to have your dog off leash there. However there are no public toilets. There is a community centre & a bocce pavillion in the midfle area. The community centre (Burley Griffon) is not open a lot...at least when I've gone past it. You would have to contact Moonee Valley Vouncil regarding programs there. The far end is much more interesting for families with kids as there is a large playground & BBQ facility there...not sure if that is also part of the JH Allan Reserve or not (?)

Great playground for families however the surrounding field is not maintained by the council. The weeds are almost at thigh height now and could be dangerous to walk through. Although you can have dogs on the lead in this reserve I’d never walk there

Playground looked nice. Was there to watch grandkids train for soccer. Grassland area needs to be tidied.
