Great Cafe, dropped in for breakfast this morning on the way to Broken Hill. The decor of the cafe is amazing and the food is delicious, great coffee with really good service, the girl behind the counter was very nice and helpful plus she was a local so knew the history. Steve the manager was great to he helped me with a flat battery to get us on the way. Highly recommend you stop in and spend sometime there Fantastic.

What an absolute delight to have coffee and cake here. The Hummingbird cake was delicious and homemade. A great use for one of the many historic buildings in Wilcannia.

Kelly & Leetisha are the ladies running the Retro/Vintage, Courthouse Cafe. BuildingCirca 1879. They are fabulous.The food and service is great, along with Coffee, Tea and homemade cakes. Wonderful atmosphere, with the fireplace warmth.Stopped in on our way from Bourke to Broken Hill then home to Adelaide.

Couldn't imagine a better place to sit and have lunch in the outback nect to the Darling river. The Barkindji beef burger was excellent. Love Miss Barrett's cafe!

The strudel was good, the coffee needs work and a friendly smile from Steve? Wouldnt go astray. Hospitality is a hard gig. But if you are going to survive in Wilcannia make an extra effort to get people to pass the word about. Google thematic tourism, learn some of the local history and share it with visitors.

Dropped in for a light lunch on our way from Broken Hill to Cobar in January 2018. What a treat this place is. Friendly staff, good food, the world's biggest milkshakes and great atmosphere. Well done!
