Moonbi Liquor & Grocery Store

Well stocked, good prices and convenient!

Spent $92 on groceries here which was pretty expensive, but we were running late heading into Tamworth and very tired so we decided to wear the expense for the convenience. They had everything I needed and the customer service was impeccable.

This was a quick stop for coffee and to check my directions. The staff were so wonderful and helpful.The same lady (blue sparkly nail polish) who made my delicious coffee that I grabbed for the road, took some time with me to go over my route. I was on the road again in no time, heading in the right direction with a yummy caffeine hit in my console.

Cute and convenient general store, post office and fish and chips place. The have all the essentials to nibbles and needs.

A great little spot to get a feed that will leave you full. The food tastes how you want and expect. You will add this on your return spots to eat while on the road.

Actually live in the town and have been in the store multiple times, Same attitude but let it slide because I live there. But today takes the cake, went in to get a few coffees and a Double bacon and egg roll. Waited for a bit and was asked how i was and began to tell them what I wanted, lady walked of to get a few thing and that’s fine then another man stood and pushed me aside to pay for two papers but proceeded to have a conversation with another man behind the counter and I was ignored, still standing dumb waiting to pay and finish my order to them yet another man walks in reaches over and pays for something and walks out. Still being ignored the conversation next to me is continuing to the point where I quietly tell another lady behind the counter I don’t want anything anymore and proceed to leave and only then does the man behind the counter pay me any attention and has a go at me because the food had started to be cooked, yet I hadn’t even finished asking for what I had wanted, I left and will never be back. Kootingal stores will probably appreciate the custom. “Moonbi Store, unless you were born there you a treated like dirt”

Such a gorgeous store.The staff are amazing, friendly & patient & honest.The burgers are delicious, food hot & cooked in a very timely fashion &Prices are very reasonable. The store has basically everything you could think of.Will definitely be going back.Thank you
