Honestly, unless things seriously change I don't expect this place to be in business for much longer. I'm being generous in giving you 2 stars as you got me out of trouble once which is why I tried to stay loyal to your business for over a year.PROBLEM 1. Last service car was returned with grease finger prints all over the bonnet and drivers door-. When I came to collect and pay big fella" was too busy water blasting the floor

Do not under any circumstances take a Diesel vehicle to this business!! They do not have technical expertise required to work on such vehicles. They destroyed a new turbo and had to get another business to take over the job and, have paid for two turbos Supplied and fitted without even driving the vehicle. Save yourself the heartache and take it to a diesel specialist to start off with. I took my vehicle to this crew in limp mode and was told a new turbo was needed. I was told they could get one online if that was ok. We looked it up and I ordered and paid for one online there and then. With pandemic on it took about three weeks to arrive but unfortunately it was the wrong turbo so, rather than send the other one back for exchange, I ordered another one online from a different company and, again as selected by them. I returned the other for refund at later date. Still in limp mode it was trial and error with different things and replacement of turbo actuator etc Still no change. I was told a diesel fitter was going to come and have a look. He said it needed a new injector pump. I said I wasn’t real sure about forking out for an injector pump on the off chance that was it. The vehicle disappeared so it was apparent the job was farmed out. I received a txt to say it was ready to pick up bring $4300 and they would give me the vehicle. No invoice. They said the turbo I bought was no good and it had another one fitted and the same goes for the actuator. They are here and you can send back for refund. And they won’t let the car go without payment. I thought everybody was aware of that part Of dropping your car into workshop . Then I was thinking to myself; if he is worried about how much the bill came to then maybe I should be as well. Why wasn’t the faulty turbo sent back for exchange. He then dropped around a proper invoice and it had an extra $363 for storage and no deduction for the $300 I paid when I dropped it off It was agreed they would deduct my deposit and the storage and the diesel guy that did the job would be there also the parts were in vehicle for refund. Finally picked up and paid for with police present. No parts were there for me to collect a refund on and only a phone number for diesel guy. I did ring the number of company that did the job finally. They said the vehicle was dropped to them and they did the job as if anybody had dropped it off. So they were not engaged to piece work to assist in works already started, it was just another job. I was told The new turbo was stuffed by whoever fitted it and the removed it and it went in the bin and was replaced with a new one. confirming again mr “honest” Was a bit loose with the truth. And by the way. The Maroochydore firm did not fit an injector pump and it’s running fine.

These guys looked at my Ssangyong last week. No BS. Referred me onto a diesel mechanic and gave me some solid information about what the issue could be. Diesel engines was not their thing but they gave me the time and advice i needed at no charge. As a small business owner myself, it is good to see ol fashion honesty still alive and well. Cheers. I'll be bringing in my petrol Pajero to get looked over as son as they have a spot.

I called Honest Auto Repairs with and they were happy to help me with a pre purchase inspection with no notice at all. In addition to being friendly, honest, and full of helpful advice, Honest Auto Repairs was also very reasonably priced, I'll be driving up from Brisbane to use their services every time from now on. 10/10

Quite disappointed as this was my local mechanic! I had my front brakes done, to now find that honest repairs" never honed my discs and just slapped the the pads straight on. Now it's a bigger job to fix. As a single mum they took full advantage of me! How disappointing!"

This place sent my car back. COVERD in scratches and then attempted to conceal the damage with dodgy and the wrong red touch up paint!!!!! Lumpy and a dark red not a sparkling red. I am absolutely DISGUSTED!!! Do not be fooled. Honest auto repair?? Really? Far from honest! In for a entire respray thanks to these ppl. Car was sent to these guys from the dealership I brought it from .. the reason it went back was to have already diagnosed issued fixed.. which were not even done. And I now have external issues into the bargin. I got the car back in worse condition then it was sent in as.
