Townhouse Hotel Wagga
A reasonable place to stay when visiting Wagga, great location. The inner room we had we as bit noisy with the sound of the elevator all day and until late at night which was annoying. There was as window into a hallway which was pointless besides it made the room noisy and a bit invasive to our privacy. The room was very clean, the staff helpful and friendly. Just a very noisy and not so private stay.

Staff very accommodating! I initially complained as our room was a little pokey and the next day was offered a 2 bedroom upgrade at no extra cost. Really appreciated it . Great position close to all shops and parking is available

We booked a standard room for $185 because your picture on the website looks good. Upon arrival, with very friendly service we were checked in to room 114. Unfortunately that’s where our happiness end. Our room had:- A broken soap dish in the shower, wrapped in masking tape,- Missing a large vanity door handle and- A patchy painted room.It would have been better for us to get a room in a pub for half the price, at least we won’t get disappointed.

So good we stayed here twice!First trip was as a couple, second trip was with relatives.Parking, some parking on site but not many and kind of hard to reverse out of. Lots of parking across the street.Staff, all staff we interacted with were friendly and professional.Rooms, we stayed in different rooms during our first and second trip. Spacious rooms with mini fridge, table and chairs for eating, and very big beds. Showers in the second room were nicer, bigger shower heads and more spacious. Bathroom fans don't work very well so just have to make sure door is closed to not set off fire alarm.Hotel facilities, ramp and elevator to allow for disabled access. But the elevator is a bit small, can fit four standing adults snuggly. Laundry, restaurant, and pool towels available. We ordered breakfast during our first trip, came to our room during the time period we selected and was absolutely delicious.Nearby, public pool and gym across the road, free access to hotel guests.Overall, amazing stay and would definitely come back again.

Very central location, across the road from the shopping centre and with access to the gym and aquatics Centre. A pleasant stay!

From the outside the Townhouse Hotel looks great, the reception and restaurant area is well decorated and welcoming. That's where the charm wears off though, the moment you step into an elevator so small that you need to make a decision between your bag, travelling companion or the stairs. Luckily for me I don't have many companions, and those I do have I respect them more than to take them to this hotel. When I found my room I realised that it was landlocked and had no windows facing outside. It did however have a window into the hallway however the blinds weren't quite wide enough to actually cover it therefore letting a fair bit of light into the room making harder to sleep. Speaking of which, paper thin walls - I could hear every word spoken between people in the rooms along the hallway including their fights and giggles (although what guests do in a hotel isn't reflected on the hotel or its review) but then finally the sign in the bathroom as pictured.Let's break this down.Shower steam sets off the smoke alarm which results in the fire brigade making an appearance. This is both angering and expensive. Okay. So install ventilation. There was zero exhaust fan in the bathroom. It's not my problem that the rooms have been built poorly and I shouldn't have to have a cold shower or a short shower because of it.Nonetheless there was barely any hot water so I had to have a cold shower anyway. In a town like Wagga your money can go a lot further in a hotel room literally other than the townhouse.

Worst manager I’ve ever experienced ‘’Andrew Buik’’ + worst wifiI had the place booked for 3 nights and I decided to choose this based on their higher price and how they’ve marketed their services. Queen beds are too small compared to the price charged. Had to pay quite a lot for an upgrade to king.Wifi didn’t work at all in all 3nights and 4 days of my stay and it wasn’t ideal during a business trip - something to keep note of if you’re travelling for work/business. When approached the reception to know the reason, I was told there’s an upgrade happening and upon browsing about the hotel and reading the reviews it seems to me that it’s an ongoing issue for the longest time now.Coming back to the rudest Manager ‘Andrew Buik’. Approached the reception upon my checkout and advised that I received the wrong water bottle order last night. I requested a normal a small 500mil mineral water and was provided sparkling water bottle at the cost of $6. To my surprise, Andrew didn’t accept this mistake and kept emphasising that it is mineral water bottle and not sparkling water as labelled. I even opened the bottle infront of him to show it is sparkling water and he kept disregarding anything I said and rudely and aggressively showed my the way to exit which had made made my very pleasant trip to Wagga not so pleasant anymore and I definitely regret my decision for choosing to stay in townhouse hotel.
