Bought a property from Empire global and what I paid for was not what I got. Fake advertising, fake quality. And a building full of defects.If you’re considering buying a property do not go with empire global.

Empire Global are raising rents 8% above legally permitted, using loophole to rob tenants.

I bought off the plan from Empire Global back in 2014 in the 'Northpoint at Wright' development. I am generally satisfied with my purchase. The exchange of contracts went ahead without a fuss. The settlement of the property was only delayed by about 3 months (December 2015 became 1st April 2016). My unit turned out okay. Something that bothered me was the the floor plans for the apartment complex showing TWO (2!) lifts in the foyer, when in reality they only put in ONE (1) lift. That bugged me. However, I rent out this 2 bedroom unit now, and so it is no longer me who has to wait for the lift. Generally satisfied. 3 out of 5 overall. ***

Would not recommend purchasing anything that this company is a part of.I purchased off the plan several years ago & when it came time for defect rectification they were MIA. I ended up phoning continuously every single day until they got the idea that they had to make good on their end. This had taken over a year.It is now 7 years on and they are having to install metal supports to ensure the building does not collapse. It is a public holiday and they are onsite drilling into concrete. For a fully occupied residential building they need to have some respect that it is a public holiday and given they are on site trying to rectify their stuff up every other day of the week then perhaps let the poor residents have one day peace and quiet.Would never purchase a property that Empire has anything to do with.

Watch out for building defects e.g. balconies not waterproofed properly so your apartment floods in heavy rain. From reading previous reviews I suspect we are all in the same complex.
