The lady served us on Monday morning 02/01/23 was extremely rude. Her attitude was shocking.

Love love love the homemade vanilla slice. Petrol good price. I travel all over Oz and this is a must stop when travelling east west.

People like Nathan who works at this place is what service industry needs.After checking in at the Wave Rock Hotel just next door, we look for some food for the next morning breakfast before we head for the Wave Rock.Customers of Wave Rock Hotel gets a discount coupon buying petrol here. In fact, the petrol price here is already cheaper than many other service stations.We come in to buy a loaf of bread, and a block of button for our breakfast toast, but the store has butter. Nathan gives us a small container of margarine free of charge instead,I am a pie eater, and I check what the store has in the cabinet. They are not heated. As we are about to pay for the bread, Nathan decides to give us the the last three not-heated pies free -of-charge. He just charges us the bread.I have two pies for my breakfast the next morning. We top our petrol using the discount coupon,Before we drive off, I use the toilet to clear my bladder. To my big surprise, the toilets of Hyden Travel Shop is cleanest toilets I have ever used.Keep up the good work!More to come ...

Couldn’t believe how calm those woman were today with the amount of customers they had in store, they were absolutely incredible …

I stopped not because I needed to, but because I wanted a support the local community by treating myself to something nice. Sadly I wasn't overly impressed and had I had known in advance I wouldn't have bothered. Despite being quite chirpy myself, the staff appeared irritated that they had to stop buttering bread rolls and serve a customer, responding only with grunts. Perhaps they were having a bad day, perhaps this is normal, whatever the case may be I will not bother stopping by to support them again.

Experienced very poor customer service on 24/12/21 at 2:26pm. Lady that served us was very rude. I filled fuel and went inside to pay where my 9 year old kid sat on a chair and wanted to eat a sandwich he had from home. This lady just went crazy and literally shouting at us saying you can't eat inside and must go out with your child or we must buy food from them to eat inside. It was 40 degrees outside but she could not care less. Hard to explain a 9 year old child why he can't eat a sandwich inside which he got from home. The food they served was nothing he would eat. Hope she gets talked to, so this does not happen to anyone else's kid. Time and date are from the receipt I kept for fuel.
