Freedom Pools

Worst company I have ever dealt with! They lied to add additional charges to our contract by saying we will only be charged for the time used and then charged us the entire amount.Pool Installation was less than average they even tried to get more money out of us on the day for the crane even though they had site inspected the property.Cleaned all the sand from install out of the pool with our pump so we had to get a third party back out to clean out the inch of sand through our pump and purchase another filter.Called them two days after the install to say we were having issues with the pump etc as we were not shown how to use it and was told we had to put in a warranty claim for the pump even though the pump was fine it just wasn't setup properly.A year later and having to pay more money than we should have we have just now got everything setup by a 3rd party as none of the settings were set in the computer so the auto acid feed and chlorinate etc were not working correctly and causing us nothing but issues and costing us a fortune feeding the pool chemicals flat out.Once again worst company I have ever dealt with do yourself a favour and avoid them like they are infected with Carona!!

Never again , took my money didn’t even have the product and never even told me waited months to get my pool heater then wouldn’t fit it unless I paid more money , disgusting way to treat customers

As many other reviews here I have not had a good aftersales experience with Freedom pools. Once the money has been handed over good luck with anything. It all looks great to start with but when things go wrong good luck.For instance yesterday I went to the display center to purchase a new led light. I was told they no longer sell parts for their own pools. I asked for their suppler so I could purchase from them, only to be told their suppler does not sell direct to the public. So this simply leaves me in absolute no mans land with how to repair parts of my pool that to be fair I've had issues with since my install namely the led light, it lasts for a year and then dies. There are other parts that I need to replace because of age but again nowhere to source them from.Thank you for your response to my initial review. I literally took the light into your shop together with photos of my spa pump which you still sell. So I'm sure you know exactly what parts I was looking for!Maybe you need to educate your reception staff. I still find it unacceptable to just simply pass the buck onto others. It's a shame I only get a reply when I have to leave a bad review. Thanks but I won't be bothering you or your staff again.

Our 3 seat spa was lovely and ideal, until very soon after purchase it began to develop an overheating issue. 3 years on, it has had so many issues that we have had to call Freedom to sort out it is a joke!!Overheating, several call outs; replacing bits and pieces , which went on for about two years . Warped panel due to the overheating problem (they blamed sun damage, even though it was under cover and shaded!). A broken bolt due to the amount of times the panel had been taken on and off, which I was told to superglue!!Finally, they gave up on replacing bits and pieces, sensors and what not, and replaced the control pale. Success!! Or so we thought.The heating element started to trip the electric, caused by undue wear because of the multiple overheating issues. Finally, it started to screech and whine, was told it was a filter issue......Called Consumer affairs, and basically we now have to take them to court because, and I quote, 'they looked after us'We were never told or given any info about our warrantee and how long it was for, and they say we knew. Each time I voiced my concern to the repair guy, he said that we'd got heaps of warrantee .They have bare faced lied to the consumer person about why they came out and what they 'fixed', we were never given anything in writing about actually what work was done to the spa.So, we're 3 years in to the life of a spa that has been plagued by mechanical issues from the start. Freedom had the chance early on to change the whole thing, but chose to play down the issues, and we believed them!!We thought we had ordered a spa, but were given the one from the showroom, although we were never told we were getting the 'display model', and were not offered any sort of discountBasically, in a nutshell, we are getting legal advice.My final word is, Don't buy from Freedom pools because they keep you strung along until your warrantee is gone and they can wash their hands of you!!

The quality of the pump/ filtration equipment is extremely poor and clearly cheap and nasty. Just before Xmas the filter cartridge started spurting water and when we contacted freedom pools they blamed us for removing the lid wrong. We got a replacement on warranty from the manufacture and within a month we had the same malfunction. This is despite it being removed exactly in the way we had been told.I have to clean the cartridge daily to keep the jetts working and to maintain flow of water through the system. I have also had to add chlorine shock and other chemicals almost weekly as the chlorinator does not work properly despite running it 9 hours a day at great expense.Barry the sales rep was excellent to deal with, but unfortunately he is let down by the quality of the materials provided and the “customer service” team.

As per Marc comments below this company uses poor materials, badly design equipment and after sales support is poor. If now some years on I am still paying out to keep this system working and everyone says rip it out and start again. For teh money spent on it I would not use them again.

Could not be happier with the service from Freedom Pools. A really amazing pool, well installed. Great people to deal with. Could not be happier.

Ignorance and poor quality, nothing was done as agreed, mess left and job never finished properly.Priory to start I met boss personally in his office, discussed access, position of crane, I had to use courtesy of my neighbour to set it on his yard. Pool was full of algae and stain on walls, I stressed it needs to be cleaned properly.When it came to work they ignored all requirements, destroyed my neighbour’s lawn, smashed plants, left tons of sand all around, filled water without cleaning pool first, tried to put kilos of algae through new filter, dried stain was left on walls, never rubbed out.When complained I was fobbed off with ignorant and offensive comments. When pushing to return and sort the issue, manager threatened me to report to shire for keeping fence opened. Sick of dealing with him I finished job myself, weeks later one side started to sag in the middle, obviously ground was not prepared properly, water puddles on deck and it’s just within a few weeks of using, who knows how it goes later. Highly un recommended.
