pros: steak and guinness pie was great, very savory with big beef chunks. Coffee was good and staff were very friendly!cons: both the curry and mornay scallop pie was too liquidy, and the base of the pie was totally soggy and uncooked. Also, the prawns in the garlic prawn pie were mushy

Great Ocean Road Bakery
My go to" lunch venue when we are visiting. I arrived a bit late day 1 and missed on the chunky pepper steak pie but had a sweet chilli sausage roll. Sweet chilli was pretty tasty but not as filling as a pie so i went back and grabbed a spinach and ricotta sausage roll. Day 2 and the chunky beef and pepper was as good as i remembered. Will the Volcano make a come back?"

Worth the stop when driving along Great Ocean Road, and you need a quick snack. We tried the sausage roll - lovely delicate pastry and delicious flavour.

Exceeded expectations. We had a variety of pies amongst the 4 of us.. steak & onion, beef & Guiness, garlic prawn, steak bacon & cheese, scallop mornay and cheeseburger pie. They were all delicious and I can describe as generously chunky in rich sauces... the prawns, the beef, the scallops. Service was friendly and fast. Latte was good. oh yes, and my little girl finished off lunch with a delicious chocolate-rainbow-sprinkled donut. Only regret is too full to try the rosemary lamb pie. Great value, thumbs up :)

Great Ocean Road Bakery
The best pie in Lorne, highly recommend if you are fans of pie. A variety of pie available. Price is reasonable. We tried Guinness beef and cheesy meat pie, both are good, but Guinness beef is outstanding.
