MV Night Crossing

Just come off a 6 night trip with Ray, Jesse, Jake, Hamish and Kade, with 15 other keen fisherman and we had a blast! The Nightcrossing is a boat with no equal, very comfortable and the team were exceptional.We bagged plenty of fish, which mind you were expertly filleted by the crew, so big smiles all round. There certainly is a balance between having ‘enough and not enough’, but the lead is most important, and at least three rods with different tackle (Lures for trolling, short rod for bottom bashing, and one for casting your poppers)I hope these photos bring it to life for you! Sensational offshore fishing.Like any experience the weather will play its part, however in my case the weather was perfect as was the fishing and service provided by the crew.The vessel was clean and we were served with 3 large meals per day.Amazing trip! Thx again to Skipper Cody & Crew.

I can’t believe how good this trip was. It was exceptional. Everything was 5 star. The fishing, the boat, the crew, the food and even the sleeping quarters were way above what you would expect on a boat. Thanks Cody, Marie, Chris, Jesse and Gus. It was truly an awesome trip. Also thanks Ray and Georgia the trip was one I will never forget.

There is no charter boat that would come close to Night Crossing, with regard to quality of the ship itself. 20 years old, and you would be forgiven for thinking that it was not long out of the boat yard. Its dining room, bar, and accomodation facilities can’t be faulted. Plenty of room for rods , fishing gear.A big thank you to all on the boat, I have been on the last six trips, and can not speak more highly of the staff.( all of the staff ). I have so many great memories of fish caught, and good laughs with my old friends. The food is excellent, and there is plenty of it. So, thank you all again, and may you all have fair . sailing for many years to come.Best regards.

Amazing trip and great boat!

If you are looking for the best fishing charter to the Swains reef this is your boat. Cody and the team look after you from the moment you get on the boat til you get off. I have now been on this boat twice and will be going on it every year. Value for money , food is A grade and the bunks for the passenger is next to 5 star. Can’t wait until my next trip.

Unfortunately it seems the quality of this operation has declined in recent times. I would suggest that there are other charters which are now better value for money and operate on a full week charter not 6 days. My husband recently went on this boat and was disappointed with how things were run and lack of communication from the skipper. Only half the patrons bothered to take the dories out as it was a bit windy. Those patrons still had the gall to queu at the end of the trip for their share of fish even though they couldn't be bothered fishing. Very poor that this was allowed to happen.

Booked a 7 day fishing adventure with Cody, Maree, Chris, Jarrod and Colin and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The fishing was brilliant and crew were awesome, going above and beyond. Highly recommend the M.V Night Crossing, thanks guys!
