Bliss Creswick

The house was lovely but the communication from the host post-stay was extremely unprofessional.The hosts directly insulted us over insignificant matters. My husband made the booking on my behalf as i was having a girls weekend away with my family and friends. The host called my husband a 'lady' and suggested that all four ladies on the trip were his wives.Things went wrong when we PRIVATELY, and nicely, provided the hosts with some constructive feedback. They took this as an insult.The hosts accused us of making a yellow stain on the bedspread, which we did not. There was only a two seater sofa so a couple of chairs were moved so we could all sit together in the evening. Our sin? Not replacing the chair in its original location.The booking was made and accepted via airbnb, obviously at an agreed rate. That's how the site works - offer made, offer accepted. Post booking the host complained that they didn't make any money from the booking and put it on us that the had to travel to and from Melbourne to ready the place.We have made plenty of bookings on airbnb and other sites, but have not faced such insults and unprofessionalism as we did with this booking.

We really loved our stay at Bliss Creswick. The location was perfect to explore Daylesford, Ballarat, Clunes and other town in the area. The property is very well set-up and has a fully equipped kitchen and nice touches like boardgames and books. James was great to communicate with and kept us informed throughout. We would highly recommend for couples and families.
