Parkes Federation Motel
Great location. That's about it.Greeted rudely in the tiny, cramped reception area by who I'm assuming was the manager, and was told where our room was, and that was about the extent of the conversation.The room was incredibly dated. Looked like the kind of room you would stay in at a truck stop 20 years ago. Bathroom was incredibly small and the shower was utterly terrible. The wifi worked for about 3 minutes and then suddenly stopped working.The beds were far from the best, but it's cheap accommodation. Not much is to be expected...

I haven't stayed here YET. I wasn't able to make it to my destination due to flooding between Dalby-Dubbo. Unlike the other place i booked, they waived fees for me and even just empathised with my situation. 100% will be staying here next time i plan this drive.

Was a decent price. Offered it online with a single bed and double for 90 but when I arrived they said they couldn't do that and gave me a double with a lounge for 90, so that irritated me.They offer free internet but when you connect they kick you off it after about 20 minutes, why off free internet?Room was very shabby and old fashioned, you may say well what do you expect for a cheap hotel? Well I stayed in the city (Sydney) for 70 a night and it looked more modern and had more facilities. Anyways.. just average stay, wouldn't recommend or stay again.

100 stars plus, Very impressed, great friendly and extremely help staff, we are staying here during the flooding crisis in Forbes and it's been first class service all the way this has been a truly amazing experience of caring and compassion thank you to all involved. Rooms are clean quite and we'll maintained.

Did not stay as there was a missed up with our booking through Bookings.com - got there & no bed available. They arranged for us to stay at another motel. No extra cost.

Parkes Federation Motel
I was quite surprised with the rooms! They were very clean and well maintained! I was just passing through for the night and wasn’t expecting anything fancy, this place is great value for money ($85) and the hotel staff were just lovely! If I am ever passing through again I will absolutely stay here!Very happy and impressed!
