Over priced food, and very limited choice, also not that good quality.Bed was comfortable but the room and the furniture inside was too simple and poorly designed compared with the price.Even the curtains not the light- blocking one, stay one night is fine, but not comfortable and convenient to stay longer.I think this is why u can’t check any bathroom photos on their website

Pretty hotel in the centre of Port Fairy! Beautifully designed with spacious rooms. Unfortunately the lawn bar / restaurant were closed when we got there on Monday afternoon, but plenty of options in town.

The Oak & Anchor Hotel
We spent three glorious nights in the Beau Suite. I didn’t want to come home! The room was large and bright, with the best king bed and comfy pillows. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was great with lovely restaurants to choose from and lovely shops to browse through. We will definitely return and highly recommend The Oak and Anchor Hotel to our friends.

We stayed 2 nights in the bridal suite. It was amazing, so comfortable and roomy, we even had a great balcony to sit outside. The seating could do with a clean though as you had to dodge the bird poop. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night. A 2 course set menu, we couldn't fault the food it was excellent and so was the service. All staff were friendly and helpful. The position was fantastic, an easy walk in to town and the market was on across the road on the Saturday morning. Highly recommend the Oak and Anchor and would definitely stay there again.

Very disappointing. Extremely expensive for cheap food dressed nicely. Charged $7 for water. The bread was the same I have at home, salami could’ve been from Coles and fired chicken for a main ??? Not worth the money, the waitresses were both lovely however and the wine was nice. Just not worth $70 per person

Quaint old Inn totally renovated without losing its charm in the centre of beautiful Port Fairy. Only 6 boutique suites with Hampton meets minamilist fit out. Attention to detail creates a comfortable and relaxing feel with no road noise even the lightest sleeper will get a good night's rest. Stand alone bath with body scrub and bath salts awesome to sink into after a long drive on the Great Ocean Road. Fantastic breakfast, lots of healthy choices on offer. Would definitely recommend you stay at the Oak and Anchor if in Port Fairy!

Loved it! We just completed a stay at this inn. Very comfortable, spacious rooms, excellent amenities. The decor is very chic. Dinner is well worth booking. And the breakfast at a nearby sister cafe was scrumptious with very good barista. Highly recommend! I would note the 10am checkout: plan accordingly.

The room was great. They generously upgraded us to a truly buitiful and sofisticated very large room. The dinner was exceptional high quality.We truly thank the hosts and owners for a great experience.

Sunday night in Port Fairy can be quiet, ours was but dinner at the Oak and Anchor was not, A gorgeous meal in stunning surrounds, a superb red and all at a reasonable price. The young lady attending our table (Lauren I think) was exceptional in the execution of her duties. Friendly, helpful and very capable. We had a lovely evening here. For the 3 nights we stayed in Port Fairy, this was our best dinner Thank you. Highly recommended
