This is one of the popular cafes in Thirroul and one of our favs. We had their specials today - Chorizo roll with egg and pan fried halloumi; corn and quinoa fritters with avocado, feta and herb salad. Both delicious. They also served the nicest coffees around.

If you are driving along the South Coast and want to grab a bite for brunch or lunch in a small, quaint coastal town, I would recommend this cafe in the heart of Thirroul.We ordered:Smashed avocado and feta, fill and lemon served on sourdough bread and two poached eggs. This was a decent, standard brunch dish. One of my eggs was slightly over poached (no runny yolk), and there could have been a bit more feta cheese.Dukkah eggs - Halloumi, wiltered spinach, two poached eggs on sourdough. My other half also ordered a side of bacon to accompany this dish. This was the winner of the day, the eggs were poached perfect and there was the right amount of flavour balanced by the spices of the dukkah and saltiness from the cheese and bacon.Good coffee, they serve campos.

Honest Don's is a fantastic local spot that offers delicious lunch options and excellent coffee. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, with friendly staff that provides attentive service.The menu features a variety of classics like burgers, sandwiches, corn fritters, breakie rolls, wraps and salads. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh, making for a satisfying meal.I ate the veggie burger and my family had corn fritters and the roast pumpkin toastie. It was all delicious and we ended with a round of exceptional coffees.Overall, Honest Don's is a great spot for a quick and satisfying lunch. The quality of the food, affordable prices, and friendly atmosphere make it a local favourite that's definitely worth a visit.

We've been going here for near many years, prior to it being Honest Dons and since. Was really disappointing on the weekend when we were completely overcharged for our breakfast and my wife politely waited for the queue to die down before approaching to ask about our order charge and was rudely responded with just a its a weekend surcharge"and wouldn't even take the time to check the docket. I'm pretty sure a weekend surcharge shouldn't take a kids milkshake from $5 to $16

The only coffeeshop in the area serving Campos coffee! Pretty down to earth place, kind staff and just away from the 'busy' main street. Kind staff too.

Nice place to stop in Thirroul, just off Lawrence Hargraves Drive so not quite as crowded as some of the main strip venues. Can recommend the breakfast menu, in particular the Dukkah Egg plate and also the Mushroom Plate. I really loved the old-school milkshake smoothies" served up in the good old aluminium milkshake container. Just looked and tasted like what we used to get at the corner store milk bar back in the 1980s!"

The staff are so friendly, warming and helpful. I highly recommend this cafe. The food is well presented and yummy. Glad that we stopped by on the way to Kiama.Thank you for making us feel welcomed.
