Disgusting customer service. I handed in my coffee machine to be repaired after being referred to this excuse of a business by Phillips. Its been over 3 weeks and they have not even provided me with a quote. I rang them on Friday and they told me they ordered a part! THESE PEOPLE WILL ORDER PARTS AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT! they will not consult with you and they will go ahead and do whatever they like at your cost! AVOID AVOID AVOID! I am truly disgusted and never experienced this type of 'service' before. They also will refuse to answer your calls.

I am not one to write reviews but I just had to with my experience with Hayden from Southside Electronics. I want to commend Hayden on his patience, diligence and wonderful customer service over the phone today. Not to mention his ability to come up with various solutions to my request. He didn't have to go this far in helping me but he did. I really appreciate this Hayden as I don't think the problem would have been solved if it weren't for you. You obviously care about your customers. Keep up the excellent work!

Five stars for Frank who arrived to service my Samsung TV.He was organised. Frank arrived at 9.17am for an appointment 9-9.30am set 2 days earlier. He confirmed arrival time 30 minutes before arriving.He was professional. He listened to the failure circumstances, confirmed the failure and diagnosed the fault in the TV in 10-15 minutes.He was through. Frank didn't have the parts to fix the problem. He prepared the report, carefully checking that I understood what he was reporting and what would happen next would come from Samsung.Frank was polite and respectful.Four stars to Southside because my TV is not fixed. There is room for improvement between Samsung and Southside

Southside Electronics are the best Electronics company I have ever had the pleasure and have been fortunate to have them repair my Samsung dryer.Andrew the owner is the epitome of a true gentleman. His understanding of my issues, his advice, help and professionalism is exemplary.George who came out to repair my dryer was a young man and the respect and manners he displayed were a breath of fresh air. He knew what the issue with the dryer was and was so efficient with his workmanship and very respectful of my dryer.Thank you Samsung for having this 5 star business you use. Words cannot express my gratitude high enough for Southside Electronics.Southside Electronics will be the company I will recommend to my family and friends.Thank you Southside Electronics.

Samsung fridge was tripping the power circuit - 5 years old so out of warranty. Happened on a Monday morning so called to ask for a technician to repair. Initial response was could get someone out the following day (Tuesday morning), however got a call back within an hour and said they would send someone same day, even if they couldn't replace part, to isolate the power trip issue so that an entire fridge and freezer full of food would not go off. Isolated the issue, fridge and freezer back on about 4 hours after the fault - very happy with the service. A different tech visited the following day to replace the faulty part (ice maker). Would recommend.

Avoid Southside Electronics if you can. They have the worst customer service when speaking to them on the phone. They have come out numerous times to make my Samsung tv worse than before. They also think that it's okay to bring a technician to your house when they please, and it's not going over your head when you have refused for a tech to come out. They also think that the extended warranty can decide what day the technician can come out. Honestly, a 1-star review is too generous for what this company has put me through. I want to say thank you for making my tv worse off than it was when you guys first came in.

If you have the choice of whether to use Southside Electronics or not, don’t.Unfortunately, we had no choice but to, as these guys are the chosen provider that Samsung use.Our Samsung Frame 55” broke on Wednesday 1st of February.After consulting with the Good Guys, they arranged for a Southside Electronics technician to come out & try to fix the problem.Technician Visit 1: Thursday 16th of FebruaryTechnician came & made an assessment that the LED panel was broken & it needed a new one. He said they would order the part and come out to fit it for us.Technician Visit 2: Saturday 18th of FebruaryA different technician arrives and asks what happened to the TV? After I explained that, he said he came with a number of new parts to try & make sure it got fixed that day. The technician saw the docket on my fridge from the previous technician and said “Oh, I didn't know [Name] had already been out to see you.” He tried the new LED panel, along with a number of other things to no avail. He advised that now the issue either lay with the mainboard OR the new LED panel he had brought with was also faulty.Technician Visit 3: Friday 24th of FebruaryThe third visit takes place almost a week later. You would think with how much we had been messed around that they would have more urgency or put us as a priority? Anyway, the technician (different technician yet again) arrives at 17:00 on a Friday evening. He asks what the issue is and when I tell him that the LED panel is broken & that the second visit replacing the LED panel didn’t work, he said I’ve got the same LED panel today…The process has dragged out for over a month & been nothing but painful. It’s now the 2nd of March and we still are no further along.All the technicians are friendly & do their best to fix the issue for you. However, we got a different technician on each visit and they seem to arrive with minimal/no information on the issue at hand and what’s happened before with previous visits from their colleagues. It seems that whoever is behind the scenes running Operations at Southside Electronics is completely incompetent.

Stay away from this company and its tricks, they will lie to you and make the situation worse then it is.My television has had nothing but issues and has had multiple repairs and the issue is still re occurring.Be aware of this dodgy company and its ways.Thank you for the lies and broken TV. Be honest to customers.

I ordered an 8k Marantz upgrade through them a couple of weeks before christmas. Brought my Marantz processor in just after australia day and they got the upgrade down within 2hrs. Both of the ladies that I dealt me were nice.Got the processor back into my home theater system and everything worked as it should.
