Came here today to get my MacBook reset but told me it would take 7 to 10 days and that I would have to pay $100. Instead I drove to Miranda Apple Store and they happily did it in less than 1 hour. Always with a smile on their face and without that condescending tone the lady at this store spoke to me today. Very unhappy with their customer service.

Made attendance to this store, not only was the parking horrible, but the location is difficult to get to. Upon going to the shop, I was told to come back when I had made appointment online via Apple's website. Made the appointment, attended with my XS Max, which was no longer turning on, or charging (1year 2months old). Tech performed a test to see if it was drawing any power to charge, which it wasn't. Another test was to see if their Mac was able to read the serial number, which it was.He then went out the back, came back out 5 minutes later, said have a look at this

First experience: I took my girlfriend's laptop there because the wifi was playing up. They took it into the back room for 5 minutes and came out and said it's a hardware issue. Because of the age of the laptop, the part required will cost more than the laptop is worth. He then suggested it might be time for new one. Something seemed off so I took it to another licensed apple repair shop in Wollongong Central. They looked at it and told us it was just a bug and it would only cost $60.00. Make your own judgement...Second experience: I was having issues with my laptop charger. Once again the laptop was pretty old so I wanted to make sure it was the charger and not the laptop. I went to mac1 @ UOW and asked if I could use their charger to pin point the problem. The guy behind the counter asked if I had a booking. I said no. He said I'll have to make a booking and the next available time was the next day in the afternoon. As he was making the booking in the system I asked if he was sure that I couldn't just plug it into a charger. I thought it was a reasonable question, I even offered to pay, but for whatever reason he became visibly irritated. He finally relented and plugged it into a charger and the green light came on, so I knew it wasn't the laptop. I understand that he did me a favor by doing it and I was grateful, but the experience was a bit bizarre. Seemed more like a centrelink office than mac1. I went elsewhere to buy a charger on principle.

Just made an appointment for the battery replacement and was told they couldn't do it because the battery is swelling. I was advised to replace the whole phone with serveral hundreds dollars. I just want to replace the battery. I went to another shop and it was perfectly fixed finally with a new battery! So very disapointed at the service. Totally wasted my time and felt unsatisfied as an apple customer.

May be apple authorised but do work worse than you can imagine. Got a top case replacement from them on my 2018 MacBook Pro for the keyboard under warranty from apple, thought they didn’t reconnect the camera and microphone and took it to apple to find out that not only did they not connect the camera or microphone but they broke almost every connector on my laptop. Would of been slapped with a 4.5k bill from apple to replace the damage caused by them if I didn’t still have a paper copy from them that they conducted work on it. Not only did they do the warranty work on my device incorrectly but they put it into apples system incorrectly so they had no idea that an apple authorised place had worked on it. Just drive to Sydney and get it fixed properly don’t bother with this place.Gave the star for the lovely people working out front, keep up the good work but the people actually doing the repairs need a career change, blue masking tape isn’t a substitute for a screw or a broken connector

Excellent expert service and advice. My daughters laptop ‘died’ on the afternoon before HSC home learning trials. Lexi sorted it out for us that afternoon. Highly recommend this business for any computer repairs and maintenance. Huge thanks!

Was told I didn't have an appointment so I had to re-book, even though I had the email from Apple on my phone with the day and time I was there, to which they said bad luck". Came back a couple of weeks later and was told I had water damage in my phone and it would be $440 to get a replacement. Went to an actual Apple store later that day

They must've listened to past complaints, because shop was easy to find (supported with online maps and physical sign posting). I delt with 3 different people and all 3 were professional, polite and helpful. They gave me a reasonable timeframe for fixing my Macbook and actually got it back to me quicker than expected. Exceeded all my expectations! Would highly recommend them!

They had my laptop for over 2 weeks before saying it just needed a battery replacement. I paid for the battery and replacement and was called several days later to collect it. When I got it home the number keys didn't work. I called them about this and they said they had no idea why that was. About 10 days later the computer stopped working altogether. No refund. Over $300 and 3 weeks of waiting for nothing.
