Great hotel, they own and rent the house next door, great cheap accommodation for the ride to Phillip Island. Reasonably priced meals and friendly staff. They even emptied the shed so we could park out bikes inside.

Have driven past this place so many times and finally made a lunch stop and WOW what a place. Great friendly se4vice and the dining facilities are fantastic. Burger came out and I was surprised to see how good it looked. Well 2 bites in and this burger has the thumbs up approval from me.Burger rating- 10Pub-10Downside is the distance but definitely worth the stop.

Pretty outrageous burgers and very well cooked fries, this place is a fabulous roadside stop.The schnitzel burger was well-made, the spicy beef & bacon was very generous and actually a bit spicy, and the classic Durham was the king of the lot. The fries were simple frozen fries but they were double-fried and well seasoned, some of the best fries I've had in quite a while.We sat on the back deck and quite enjoyed watching the birds and being out in the open after a long drive.The only thing to note is that the kitchen only opens at 12:00 so you can't get an early lunch.

Took some friends from Florida here for lunch. They loved the vegetarian options and the rest of us had Bangers and mash and fish and chips.Would definitely go on our way back.

The owners are lovely and happy help with local knowledge, an extra blanket or even a drinks recommendation.The locals come here to eat and its obvious why.The property has lovely views, pool, feels quite remote despite being only minutes to various towns

Quite a nice country pub. $10 lunches with $2 add on options if you want something a bit bigger. Friendly staff and owners. Drinks are nice n cold n reasonably priced. Charming atmosphere and in winter a big double sided log fire makes for a warm n cosy evening. Dinner meals are top too.

Best scotch fillet evverrr.I have been eating steak all my life,and this is one of the best steaks I have ever had.And the best thing is every time I had a steak here the quality and taste was the same (5 times) during my stay.Beer cold and service fantastic.Australiana at its best.Thank you
