The Palace Hotel
We had lunch, battered fish and chips. A big elegant stack, with salad. Beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent place to lunch at and a lovely outdoor experience, with birds visiting.

Pretty standard Aussie pub. Large screen TV's with racing and sport. Reasonable food available in the so called beer garden.

Really wish the beer garden (very separate to the main area of the hotel) was dog friendly. So many dog owners in this area.

The Palace Hotel
We stayed at the hotel. We are pretty comfortable in cheap accommodation and have stayed in many a hostel. This place was comfortable enough. But the problem was that it wasn’t clean. There was an old blood stain on our bedding, there was also a mysterious dark stain on the sheets, one of the bathrooms did not have a functioning shower, and the actually working bathrooms were very dirty.We booked a different place to stay the next night.

The Palace Hotel
The Palace is exactly as you would expect a good old pub to be. Decent food, a reasonable range of beer and wine, badge draw on a thursday and live music once a month. The bistro is quieter for a family meal and outdoor garden area is nice.

Went to the restaurant and had a lovely lunch. Good selection and reasonable prices. Would recommend it for a comfortable and delicious lunch

Bar service needs to be better. Waited 10 minutes just to be ignored everytime.Yes it was busy, but if you see the same face waiting there each time you go to serve someone else, do something about it.
