Had a great meal here. The staff seemed extremely busy but still provided fast service. We ordered 3 dishes and all were amazing and had their own unique flavours. The place was full which wasn't a surprise considering the quality of food. Would definitely come here again.

I recently dined at Kafenes Greek Restaurant and I must say, I was blown away! The Southern European atmosphere was simply enchanting and made me feel like I was in the heart of Greece.The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was top-notch and exceeded all expectations. I would definitely recommend the grilled octopus and the lamb shank - both were absolutely delicious!

We always come here when our friends are in town as they always request it and it’s never disappointing!The main waitress is always busy but very friendly and helpful.The food tastes good. We’re glad it’s still here after all this time!

Greek food friendly staffThis is a super friendly restaurant the staff really are lovely like, going home to family.Food fresh and authentic and varied. You can change parts of dishes you order, add in what you like and delete what you don’t.The whole snapper was amazing, Greek salad fresh , and barbecue prawns not to be missed. Generous servings.You’re not rushed there are no two sitting when you are forced to eat at 6pm or 8pm go anytime after 5pm. Bookings advised, however we walked in and sat on a table for two outside.It’s BYO with a bottle shop a few doors down.We hadn’t been to Enmore road for a while and it really is buzzing!You can find parking or catch the train to Newtown and walk to it.Love your local guide -❤️

Solid four and a half stars. Staff is friendly, the ladies all made us feel like we were sitting at auntie’s table being served homemade Greek food. The spanakopita and chicken souvlaki dishes were great

We knew we’d be looked after the second we walked through the doors. Staff were lovely and welcoming, food was to die for. Octopus was a personal favourite.

Hit and miss for us.Pork kontosouvli was nice as was the snapper and octopus.Disappointed in the saganaki, especially the olive one.Given it is a traditional Greek restaurant I would of expected a traditional Greek salad, instead of a very overpriced garden salad. Bottled water was $10 which seemed quite steep.Also really don't like unnecessary garnishes on a dish.I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it didn't do it for us. Really nice service though.

Avoid takeaway - it is a total rort. The food quality is good but serving size is abysmal. Spent 70$ for a salad, very small side and one main, barely enough for two people. Take your money elsewhere.

What a great restaurant- the food is first class and authentic.Reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly- you feel like you’re going to a friend’s place for dinner.Fully recommend.The moussaka and the lamb are unbelievably great.It won’t disappoint

Neighborhood gem, the combination dips were delicious, one of the best we've had. Generous servings on the food, cannot fault everything we ordered. Been a good dining experience, will definitely come back. Highly recommended.
