Spent one night camping with my 5yo son. He had a buddy’s birthday the day after. It was great. He loved it and we felt surrounded by nature. Wish we had stayed an extra night.

Fabulous experience. We went for a day out and it was the best horse ride so far and staff were great hosts. Plenty of things to do which are supplied and managed by the farm as well. Not too far from Sydney, which is an another plus. My daughter already wants to stay over next time and we’ll definitely do it. Highly recommend to families or small groups who’re after a fun outdoor experience, not too far from Sydney.

The rooms are cold. 3 rooms 2 heaters. Toilet has no heater and we were there in winter. The interior is old and the dining table was shaky. But it was good fun for the kids. Would have been better if they provided more activities. Some were BYO including linens and towels. No food too.

The animals are well cared for, very very friendly staff as well. There was never a dull moment when I did my work placement with them. Each room is cleaned and sanitized appropriately. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from modern life, about a 10 minute drive from main towns, you truely get a country feel. I loved my experience with them all.

I've just returned home from the most wonderful weekend camping at Mowbray Park. I took my 18 month old and he had an incredible experience, riding on the tractor and feeding all of the much loved animals. Hannah and Alissia are so friendly and great with the kids and I learnt a life skill with bread making on the fire. We will definitely be back and recommend for a wholesome weekend away from the City.

Booked a small getaway last week at Mowbray Farm and weren't expecting much other then a quiet place the kids could enjoy and hopefully run around without damaging anything.Blair and Jacqui were the loveliest hosts you could ever ask for. Polite, kind, warm smiles and EXTREMELY hospitable. My mother who lives with Multiple Sclerosis came with us and they were so accomodating to her needs. Blair made the effort of organising a buggy to take her back to our accomodation when we were at the nursery as she couldn't walk back up the hill. The young lady who drove the buggy even wiped the seat dry for her as it was raining which was so sweet and funny as she didn't have a cloth and did it with her clothes ahahhaKids loved the hands on nursery experience and pony rides and we enjoyed the pure serenity and calm of waking up to such beautiful views.Kids also loves their super friendly dogs Archie and Pearl !!!Thank you so much for your generous smiles and hospitality.

We have come back from Australia for more than half a year, my 3 years old daughter still remember the two friendly dogs, Hachi and Pearl and miss the days in the farm very much. It was really a fantastic experience for kids grown up in city. This place is in my “must go” recommendation list for my friends who is going to Sydney with family.

Amazing stay at Mowbray Park Farm, plenty of fun activities for both adults and kids. Tranquil surroundings for a superb relaxing stay. Thanks to Blair and Jacqui who made our visit fantastic, they're both super friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Mowbray park farm on the recent long weekend and felt the bedroom situation for our family of 5 really was a shame. We were allocated room 5 of the Magellan lodge with a bunk bed that was rickety and unstable with a safety bar almost falling off and there was no safe way to access the upper bunk, no steps nor ladder as required by Australian standards. This meant that we did not feel safe or comfortable using the bunk bed so our children and I (the 4 of us) slept on the queen bed while my husband slept on the single bed next to the bunk. We believe the bedroom arrangement for our family of 5 was more than lacking, particularly in light of the high amount we paid and the other 7 rooms of the lodge that were locked and unattended. Those unattended rooms, it appears online, contained bunk beds that follow the relevant Australian standards for bunk beds.We otherwise enjoyed our stay, activities were fun and would have stayed on another night to enjoy the facilities and book in horse-riding for 4, that is, if it weren't for the beds and bedroom set up. We were truly just so disappointed all the more by the manner with which our concern was dismissively handled by the reception staff when the issue was raised. We hope and strongly recommend that the issue with the bunk bed is taken into serious consideration and that it is either repaired or replaced before any future letting of the room to other guests. Indeed we wrote in to reiterate but received no response.

The owner Blair and Jacqui are very friendly. We had a really good time. Lots of activities such as animal feeding, pony riding, archery, canoeing, tennis. Although sometimes the equipment was not perfect and the room was not as clean as hotel, we had a really good time, especially my two-year old boy. There is no wifi in the room but it is a get-away experience.
