Hidden Valley Forest Retreat

We can see why Hidden Valley Forest Retreat is constantly fully booked! We stayed in Stone Stable Cottage and it was a little slice of heaven secluded in our own private forest.The room and bathroom was extremely clean and had everything we needed including the fireplace all set up ready to use upon arrival. We had more firewood delivered to our door the next day. There was in fresh milk in the fridge and a mini dishwasher for convenience.I had a 2 hour massage and facial booked with Deb who came to our room, she was so lovely and professional and I felt like a new person afterwards.They have really thought of everything and we couldn’t fault it.Thank you to Tim and Lily for the beautiful stay, it was just what our souls needed.

We stayed in the deep water forest retreat by the lake and had an incredible time. The decor and setup of the chalet is fantastic and has many amenities to suit a 5-star rather than a 4-star hotel. We had a great time and are already considering when our return trip will be because this place is too amazing to visit only once!

Wow! This place is incredible! My wife and I recently got back from our honeymoon and we were blown away with what this amazing place had to offer. If you're in need of a de-stress nature retreat with a modern twist, the Deepwater cabin really delivers with it's outdoor spa and boardwalk along the nearby lake. We found ourselves out there most days soaking up the morning sun while we had our coffees. Also a great place to stargaze for a romantic night in. There's also a great spot on the other side of the cabin where you can sit and relax to enjoy the sounds of birds chirping too. It is also in such a great location, close to so many nearby tourist attractions. We were impressed with the excellent customer service during the booking period and they were flexible and accommodating with our honeymoon romantic arrival requests too. After a week there, we feel so much more relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend to any further couples booking for their honeymoon in particular.Thanks for making us feel so welcome :)

My wife and I have just returned home from Deepwater Retreat. We really didn't want to leave. The place was kept spotless inside and out, which would be a big effort in the bush setting.It was so special having our own private lake, outdoor spa with shower and even the lovely outdoor views while showering inside! Have never come across something like this.Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a secluded getaway with great facilities.

We spent 2 nights in Deepwater Retreat for our 10th wedding anniversary this weekend and it was absolute bliss.Everything has been thought of…the kitchenette is extremely well stocked for the size, I could not believe what they managed to get in the small space. Toiletries included were lovely quality and ample. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and heated towel rail is a great addition. The spa bath (with shower) on the deck was so indulgent. The whole place inside and out was clean and given you are in the middle of the bush, all cobwebs etc were cleaned away. Daily firewood drops were much appreciated. All the little extras that are often missing from some of the super expensive air bnb’s we’ve stayed in were there and the fresh native flowers were a beautiful intimate touch.We thought it was good to mention that when the website states you have a private lake and jetty it means completely private!! Only Deepwater Retreat has access to it which is a huge bonus. I have never stayed anywhere like it. For our first holiday alone since having twins 7 years ago we couldn’t have chosen better.Thank you Tim & Lily, what a gem of a business you have.

Beautiful Place and very relaxing.We stayed in deep water retreat has no lake views as advertised as the trees have grownFew things that where not up to expectation. 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper no spares to be found anywhere. Only enough firewood for about 4hours of burning per night. For the price you pay you would expect a little better.but overall a lovely place.

We were very much enjoy the stay! Most unforgettable stay ever during our visit in WA. The place was like a heaven. This little cute cabin equipped everything you need! The outdoor BBQ was a plus. Not forgetting the outdoor massage tub was the most amazing spot to spend time with your love one. You won’t regret it

Wow Tim and Lily, thanks so much for an absolutely amazing space to celebrate life and love. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and we could not have asked for more. Perfection ❤️

Speechless. We couldn’t wipe the smiles off our face the whole time we were there. The quality and attention to detail was superb and the location, absolutely beautiful. We wanted to chuck a sickie and stay longer! Worth every penny and can’t wait to come back.

We recently booked 2 nights at Hidden valley for our honeymoon and stayed in the Deepwater Retreat. The accommodation and its surroundings itself were beautiful and the outdoor spa to die for. We were however a little disappointed that our honeymoon wasn't acknowledged (I mentioned it was our honeymoon in the comments box when booking, presuming this is what its for). It would have been nice to have received an inexpensive local bottle of bubbles/wine as a kind gesture of us being newlyweds. Even the handwritten card was generic and again no acknowledgment of our recent nuptials. I'm not asking for the sun, moon and the stars but the accommodation is 5 star with a 5 star price tag so adding an extra small personal touch would have been warmly received.
