Amazing butcher with surprising range of local products eg honey and eggs to add to your meat order. Best boerewors I’ve had in Australia. The staff are lovely, attitude is relaxed and the meat is top end but priced very affordably

Coming from a local country town, with a highly decorated butcher (mountain side meats), my standards are very high. The product that Thorns Gourmet meats offer is of the highest quality. No matter what you pick, you will not be disappointed, however, their smoked meats is second to none!

Be it for Easter or Thanksgiving, Halloween or Christmas, I always get meats from Thorns Gourmet Meat & Smokehouse. The products are fresh, excellently smoked and of high quality. I would love recommending them to everyone in Bellingen.

Not HappyWe went to this place after a big rap from friends bought the cabanas awesome but also bought 2T Bone stakes asked for 2 large T Bones and got 1 small one and 1 small one with no sirloin very disappeared at what was going to be a we'll deserved dinner

Needed a half ham for a special celebration, and Matt very kindly obliged with exactly what I wanted. The ham was so delicious, after the event I was contacted by at least three people to ask where I purchased it! Thank you Matt. Always obliging, and have never had anything but the best from Thorns!

Thorns Gourmet Meats and Smokehouse
The wide range of sausages were really good and being gluten free meant everyone enjoyed them. Scotch fillet was lovely and tender. Bangalow ham is the best I've ever had, amazing!Staff aren't the friendliest and it's a shame they've got the items with breadcrumbs next to everything else causing cross contamination for coeliacs.

Great variety, looks fresh. We bought the free range chicken and lamb sausages, delicious. Great pricing as well.
