Unimpressed and won't be shopping with them again. Ordered online a gift for my daughter for Christmas on 5th December (after searching for months in local shops and having no luck) and I allowed for the covid postage delays. The small soft toy arrived on the 31st December, a whole week after Xmas eve and Yellow Octopus has a guaranteed delivery before Xmas if ordered by 10th. When I raised this with them prior to the item arriving a week late they said they would refund if it didn't arrive before Xmas. When I contacted them for the refund they said I had to refuse the delivery of the parcel so it gets returned to them in order for me to get the refund. The package got delivered without notice and now I am expected to waste more of my time to get the package back to them just for my refund. This is not good business or customer service!

Ordered a Christmas present for a family member, using click and collect. I got an email this morning saying that it was ready to pick up between 9am and 6pm. Upon my arrival at 4:15pm today to pick up the present, in time for Christmas I've found that they shut at 4pm on Christmas Eve. While that's completely fine, the fact that there was no mention of this change of opening hours on either their website and the direction to pick up the order any time between 9am - 6pm has left me rather annoyed. I've driven 50 minutes from the west in order to pick up this present and have driven away empty handed due to poor communication. Not impressed.

Prompt processing, items were well packaged. Only downside was the express delivery taking three business days

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered an engraved cheeseboard from this company to be part of my proposal/engagement. Goods were received 1 week late despite paying for Express" 1-2 day delivery

Wanted to give a shout-out to the customer service team that replied promptly when my product arrived damaged and issued a refund. It’s this sort of customer service that makes me appreciate the company’s integrity and actually make me want to shop again for other presents as I know they will treat you right. Thanks again, looking forward to shopping again.

This company is at the top of my list of WHO NOT TO DEAL WITH AGAIN !!!!I ordered some fun Xmas gifts, 11in total . I had a question after I had purchased about a discount code they offered which had not been taken off at check out . …. That took 3 emails for them to reply ! The parcel took a month to arrive …. Australia post had contacted yellow octopus to tell them that the package was damaged in transit , their answer to that …”deliver it anyway “( shocking) . On receipt of parcel , due to insufficient packaging , 2 items were damaged and 1 was missing . When I emailed them requesting a refund and return instructions , they tried to “fob” me off with multiple excuses , part refund for missing item etc etc . Just ridiculous!!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!Needless to say live unsubscribed .

Really disappointed with the delivery vs the online notification. Paid for express on a weekend order and will not arrive until a week later over 7 days. The website offered that delivery date for free when ordering. So out of pocket and when I complained was advised it was due to a public holiday. Express is via Australia Post so take that into consideration when ordering. Really frustrating and basically a nothing we can do response nor an offer to refund the freight payment.

Very cool and fun store! I really think you can find the perfect thing for anyone! It has such a variety. Also I made a mistake by ordering two of something I just wanted one of and I sent an email. The very next morning I woke up and I got an email from them saying that they have changed my order and that I will be refunded!! Was great because I was freaking out as it was the first time with that problem
