Arohana Dance Academy

As a current student who has been going to this Academy since 2015, I have learnt so much about Bharatanatyam. When I first started in this, it was completely new to me and I had no idea on it’s style of dance but thanks to my teacher and peers, I have grown to know how to dance Bharatanatyam. Not only did I learn it, I made friends within the academy and grown to love the atmosphere of our classes, some funny and some not so much, but as a student it has been benefical and has hugely impacted me in a posiitive way and what I have grown to experience. Through being with this academy I have been able to build on my confidence, perform on stage in front of big audience and mostly have fun throughout my experience there. I as a student who has been there for 5 years and been there in the first year of when the academy opened up, I highly recommend this academy to anyone who wants to dance Bharatanatyam or Bollywood.

My daughters started the classes and just loving to go every week. They are highly enthusiastic to go each week and learn new steps. Great atmosphere and the teacher wants you to succeed. Its our first year and my girls are already comfortable.

Swati is a fantastic dance teacher and enthusiastic, passionate, highly trained dancer . I trained with her for a performance and Swati helped me (non dancer) to build the confidence to perform on stage. She will guide you to the best of your abilities. Highly recommend her.

Arohana Dance Academy is a great place to learn Bharatanatyam or Bollywood... Their lessons are conducted in a friendly and informal way but with a great deal of expertise.
