Good vet practice. Always nice and caring to our animals

2 months ago, said our little puppy had a back issue. Did no tests and said come back if he gets worse. Came back a month later, no tests and put on pills. Come back another month later, told our fur baby has to be put down cause it's a spinal issue. Charged $700 overall. We then go to Northlakes for a 2nd opinion, they do scans and he infact has meningitis, and now most likely has to be put down because the sheer incompetence of Burpengary and wasted time and money.How this vet is still in business is beyond me, and I hope you get shut down and run to the ground, never to work in animal care again, as they don't actually care about the health of your animals, only money.

Have been using this vet hosp for many years and have no complaints ever. Happy to recommend them for their wonderful care of our 4 legged friends. Thanks to all the staaff over the years..

Never had a problem with this practice. My parents used this vet when it first opened now I take my pets here.. All staff have been great.

Very disgusted with the receptionist she was rude and kept saying go to vet emergency northlakes. The dog I had was dying the owners had been going there for a long time and they said they are never going back. They said they were to busy but I saw 6 vets standing laughing in the break room. They only had to put the dog to sleep very cold and rude. Never go here. I'm a local guide I can't believe how I was treated at a sad time.

Accommodating and helpful staff on the phone. No complaints with my pets surgery. Only thing I could fault in my visit is being watched by the reception staff whilst they sat behind the desk and saw me struggle with a walker and a kitten carrier through the doorway, after prior calling to advise them I was disabled and unwell. I just thought it might have been nice of one of them to perhaps offer to open the door, since it's not automatic it was a hurdle in my visit that I struggled with.

By far the best vet hospital on the planet. Our pug x staffy ruptured her cruciate and went in for a routine X-ray. Unfortunately she had an anaphylactic reaction to the anaesthesia. Dr Liz, Nurse Bronwen & the practice manager Jacinta all went above and beyond, for over 6hrs working on Tammy to save her life. Absolutely incredibly, against all odds she survived and has suffered no ill side effects. We know it’s thanks to these incredible women and will never ever forget, how tirelessly they worked to save our girl.We also chose to say goodbye to our beautiful boy Tigga here. The kindness, love and support shown to him and us, was special. We were not rushed and the staff ensured Tigga was calm and comfortable. One of the saddest days of our lives, was made as smooth as possible and has enabled us to remember our beautiful boy peacefully leaving us and running freely to the rainbow bridge.I could never imagine recommending a better vet hospital. Thank you once again to everyone at Burpengary Vet Hospital. Thanks to you, Tammy is still happily living her best life.

I cannot fault burpengary vets at all, this is without doubt one of the best vets I have ever been too, I have two dogs one of them is dog aggressive and they go above and beyond for him to make him feel comfortable.My second dog was very unwell with a pyometra and wasn’t in a good way at all, the ladies knew my financial situation wasn’t at its best and went above and beyond to accommodate for my girl and myself! The care and dedication they had for my furr baby was second to none! Her surgeon even came in on her day off to check in on her because she was so worried, my girl shouldn’t be alive today with how unwell she was and I owe it all to burpengary vets for their selfless love and compassion for animals! These guys are so amazing and truely the only vets I can say actually care about the animals and not the money! All of the staff here are fantastic but I have to say the three ladies that looked after my dog truely are angels and genuinely lovely people! I have found my new vets for my furr babies and will not be going anywhere else! Seriously if your after a good vet practice these guys are it!
