Do The Books

I recently engaged Rebecca and her team to complete an accounting project for me. They were very professional and efficient and were able to get the job done with no fuss. Bec has gone over and above to help keep our business financials running smoothly from fixing MYOB to monthly book keeping and answering my phone calls no job was to big or small. Couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, friendly and a efficient book keeper.

We (my business partner and I) had Rebecca from Do the Books prepare our Jan - Mar 2018 BAS.In a nutshell she did data entry (entering our daily sales), bank reconciliation and set up many bank rules, etc .. At the point of lodgment, our Accountant queried many transactions in our Accounting system. We worked through these issues and lodged our BAS. Our result was a small amount owing to the ATO. Bells rang slightly as this was a complete flip to the refund we received in the previous quarter. Being inexperienced we trusted Rebecca’s process. Jump forward to next 2 BAS lodgments. We engaged a different bookkeeper and thankfully, she identified many, many mistakes which turns out had a large negative impact on the outcome for Jan-Mar. A revision was prepared and lodged with a 4 digit refund coming our way.A couple of small minor negatives: She was late (got lost?) and didn’t bring any food for a full day’s work.I do not recommend Rebecca from Do the Books.
