Barber Dollz

The sign outside says $35 for women’s cut. I went in and inquired about a price for 1.5 inch straight cut off the bottom of my dead straight hair. Was quoted $45.... so what kind of “cut” is $35 then? False advertising. I agreed then sat down at the basin. Took one look at the filthy set up..... shampoo bottles opened and empty, dirty benches around the basin. Yuck looking resin around the basin bowls. Even the chairs looked like they just needed to be thoroughly wiped down. I decided to leave. The hairdresser kept calling me babe which I considered to be quite unprofessional. Overall I didn’t get a professional sense and felt misled by the prices advertised out the front. Wouldn’t return based on this experience.

If you love your hair please stay away.... absolutely anywhere is better!!!Really poor service. Didn’t confirm what hairstyle was required, started cutting my hair randomly. I stopped and said I’m here for a hairstyling not a haircut why are cutting my cutting my hair??? The hairstylist was very unprofessionalFrom the start she was speaking to her colleague about unrelated stuff. A little bit later a huge fight between the employees started as one stylist was hungry...... they ended up yelling at each other, from then on my stylist lost the little focus she had. Then she complained that I had really bad hair!! Also, whilst I was sitting there she told me she wishes all her customers were like the customer who was sitting next to me. I managed to get all this after only speaking a very few words and showing an Instagram photo of what I wanted. Mind you it’s the same photo I have shown previously at every other salon for the past 5 years to get a styling blow wave done.

I could not be happier with the service my son and I received. After two dreadful hair cuts at another barber we were desperate to fix the damage! Staff were attentive, friendly and listened to our story... and more importantly he knew what to do and rectified the previous hack attempts.All the barbers were very neatly presentedSO happy!

I have been before and the cut I got was great quality and was happy with it. However their service leaves a lot to be desired. With not even a Hello" I was directed to wait with no indication of time. Even after others had finished getting their hair cut I was ignored."

Place is so disorganised. Waited an hour for a 5 minutes undercut shave. They were letting people just cut the line and they weren’t even asking who was next. There was absolutely no system in place. Had two people cut in front of me. And then when I did get the undercut done, had them discussing the price after the fact, and when payment came, they changed their mind on the price and increased it - it took 5 minutes for a shave undercut area of about 5x5cm - absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Extremely unprofessional. Used to be great but the lady taking appointments asked me to come for a haircut and said they were fully booked out when I arrived. Omar the barber gave me a haircut the other day and shaved my hair unevenly and his excuse was “i cut your hair during my break so i need to rush”.Would not recommend this saloon to anyone

Thanks to Sam and the boys.Took my 5yo son for a haircut and by far the best he has ever had.All the cuts with clean lines dont buy into the hysterical reviews3 years on and still travel from the Mornington Peninsula to get my sons hair done but also my daughter now still the best place in my opinion.I don't go there for the lack of conversation or the fact you need to sit and wait sometimes as they are busy I go there for the super consistent haircuts and my daughter is treated like a princess there Ellenaeven gave her a little bag with a heap of samples for her hair care

Short version: The barber shaving my sideburns using a barber's knife cut my neck and made me bleed. Still got charged $30 for a 15 minute terrible experience.My glasses were off while getting the haircut so I didn't see it but I felt a stinging sensation during the haircut. After he finished and I put my glasses on, I could see blood on my neck. I asked him did he do this? and worst of all, he said no that was already there". Then I told him I felt a sting while he was shaving my sides and he goes "Oh did you? Don't worry brother

Saw they had a special on for $110 for cut, 1/2 head foils and blow dry, made appt for following day. Hair dresser was constantly on his phone, half way through washing my hair ran off for a phone call.... Came back stinking of cigarettes.... when it came time to pay, it was $215..... DOUBLE what I was initially quoted! When I asked, he told me I had long hair.... My hair is shoulder length, and at no time when making the appt did the counter lady ever say it was double the special price because it was an inch longer than short hair"! Scam artists!!!! Avoid like the plague!!"
