Did You Know:On-leash dogs permitted away from picnic areas and children's play areas.

Not a bad place to spend a few hours, picnic tables, short walk and a maze for the kids to play in. Wouldn't be in a rush to go back, but if looking for an afternoon out is worth a look.

We did the walking trails.. they are fairly basic but is enough to feel like you are out of the city for a moment.. and not too far to get there from city centre. Is dog friendly for on leash dogs.

The toilets were messy - empty toilet paper rolls on the ground as there was no bin in the cubicle, no toilet paper and no soap dispenser. Not much graffiti in there, but it was inappropriate, especially for young children. The Loop Walking Trail wasn't very scenic, but it was an easy walk. Went to walk down the Cottage Trail but not even 50 metres into the track there was a closed gate with a private property sign. Would only probably go back to take my dog for a walk as they are allowed if they are on leads.

Nothing like what it says on the website/s. Poorly maintained, looks like nothing get done around the place. Play equipment broken, messy and outdated.(They we’re going with a mining theme as it’s near or was a mining area back in the day).Had nothing to do with what they said it was and walk was not the best.

Great place for a bush walk. There are some smaller tracks and some longer ones. It's a great place for kids

Lots of hiking trails to be discovered that venture off into fletcher, Wallsend, minmi and Maryland. Also has a huge kids maze and playground and the treetop adventure park

A nice relaxing park with part equipment for the children, free bbqs, and clean amenities. There are several walks through the bush showing a lot of history from when the area was a mining town. Well with a visit

Great place to take a break and take a walk. The park is well tucked away from the main road and the loop trail is fairly easy despite the level four difficulty rating. The historic remains from the old mining days are interesting to see and the maze for kids is really great. ONLY thing hope the park management to pay attention to is the inappropriate graffiti around the park as there are a lot of facilities are built for the kids, so really hope those graffiti can be removed. Other than that, highly recommend!
