I would like to say what a great experience I had at Kings Domain Academy, from start to finish.The greeting was smooth and seamless. Zach, who cut my hair, was professional and diligent in his high attention to detail. Credit also to his trainer/mentor (whose name I didn't catch, alas), who demonstrated a high level of expertise.A very good experience, and I am very happy with my haircut.

Great experience. The minus 1 is that if your not a white Australian or European you will be treated in a different way . The white male barbers will only welcome you in open arms and greet you in the front door or acknowledge you if you fit in their mould or click. However I was gain respect and fair treatment of trainees from a multicultural background. Really annoyed and irritated by Kane who covertly displays affection and favouritsm for white clientele only

A very good place to get a hair cut. Very friendly staff. They offer me drinks everytime I go, clean my hair, are very attentive to my desired haircut and take their time making sure you get a good cut.I am socially awkward but they really make me feel comfortable. You can let a trainee cut your hair for a cheaper cut or you can get a trainer to cut your hair if thats your thing.Overall a nice establishment and one of the best barbers around!

Haircut by 16 year old Nick last week at the Academy was a great experience. Well spoken, polite and mature. Great with the clippers and will be highly successful. Highly recommended.

Friendly and efficient service provided by Melbourne's future barbers. An industrial aesthetic meshes with a workmanlike approach, interesting to overhear the more experienced barbers make suggestions, going here will help create more barbers.

I got a cut from one of the academy barbers; great haircut and the price can't be beat. Only downside is it takes much longer than a normal cut, but you're warned of that when you book in.
