Been shopping here for a few years now.Sadly though the prices have increased (clothing). . Last time I was looking thru the clothing rack where you had higher end type clothes there were a cple of cotton long sleeve casual tops. Never worn but very old still with the old Myer tags on them. The original prices from when they were new and selling in the store probably about a good 20 years ago were priced at $130. I looked at your pricing on them and had been labelled $50 each...before I looked at the price I thought $8 was reasonable. Then when I saw $50 I had a shock.I don't mind spending a little more in an op shop if for charity , but this item although tags still on, was dirty, smelly and been in someones wardrobe for god only knows how long. Material overtime dissipates, the quality only lasts so long..I continued to look thru the same rack and everything else was highly priced I wouldn't have bought any of those items for more than $5. Sometimes unless designer label where a pce really was high end and becomes Vintage I can relate to a $50 price tag. But a cotton throw over casual top because it was once $130...? Maybe the reason why you have so much clothing in the store lately. Honestly think you guys need to have a good few days of sale with in the clothing area.

Every month my friends and I come from the Eastern suburbs of Sydney to visit, shop and enjoy this unique emporium that is always full of treasures, pleasures and the unusual. This week, however was a very different experience. As soon as we walked in we felt a sense of coldness, and I am not talking about the weather. The new rows of clothing and bric a brac looked unappealing and like a boring, cheap mainstream retail outlet. The corners of curiosities are no more. The staff are still warm and accommodating but appeared somewhat stressed. The shop has lost its soul. People from Sydney come all the way here to experience this once warm and inviting cool little Mountains magic. Being a bit different can be a beautiful thing.

Best op shop in the known universe. Cheap, air conditioned, potential treasures. It's my local and I love it dearly. Always seems to have good / daggy songs playing.

The best op shop in town! Caring professional staff. I only go here to donate and to buy because I know that this shop uses the money to benefit people in our local community. The support for people and their families suffering from cancer is amazing. The shop itself is great... there is always a treasure to find and a nice conversation with shoppers and staff. Spend your money and donate your good quality goods knowing its not going to religious organisations with massive bureaucracies. Love this place!

22.4.23* Filthy Attitude By Staff *I regularly donate large amounts of items to this shop through my business. Today when purchasing an item was treated disrespectfully by a staff member for no reason other than the fact she has poor attitude problems which no doubt extend into all areas of her life. I WILL NO LONGER BE DONATING TO THIS SHOP OR ENCOURAGING MY CUSTOMERS TO DONATE OR PURCHASE FROM HERE. I will be sharing my experience of the poor attitude displayed by staff with all for many years.Screen, educate and employ better people - it is costing you.A reply with a phone number will not suffice.

Of all the op shops I have been to in Australia and the UK, this one is by far the best. There is much treasure to be found and all items I have bought from antiques, collectables, vintage and electric have been wonderful. They service all goods ensuring only the highest quality for the community. They also have an extensive range of household goods, books, kitchenware and bric a brac. The clothing varies from functional to designer - from retro to current. They practice sustainability in a kind and practical way, offering logical solutions to upcycle, recycle and repurpose. The staff are beautiful. They are friendly and helpful. It is fantastic to have this business open where those dealing with cancer are supported and , where the wider community is invited to donate and become part of the plethora of customers looking to decorate, restyle or jazz up their home, garden or even their image! There is simply no comparison between this op shop and any others in NSW.

I called in on Wednesday with a car load of great items to donate (not clothing) and was told to come back on Thursday and Friday as they had insufficient staff to receive donations that day. I returned on Thursday and dropped of a load. I returned again on Friday and after unloading half the things was told I could not donate them. I was refered to the small A4 size sign on an A-frame saying no more donations which had emphasised in larger pring no clothes. I explanind that I was told that I could bring them back on Friday, the staff member did not care and was very officious in her behaiviour and did not care. I said they should not say one thing and then do another especially after I had loaded the car and brought the items all the way. I have checked the website and there is no such notice on the website. I appreciate that the number of donations can be overwhelming at times but don't say one thing and do another. You will not have to worry about it again as I will making all my donations to other organisations from now on. My wife and mother in law love shopping there but that won't be happening again. Luckily I had already unloaded some good furniture items which she did not notice, another person asked my about the great chair I had left there and was wondering how much it was, I told her that she can have it as I just left it there. So that was a sale you missed out on because of your attitude. It is interesting to read other reviews sighting attitude as a problem in the store. A great way to lose donors and customers.
