Rangelands Outback Camp
Nested on a jump up, far away from all city lights, Rangelands camps is a true luxurious outback experience.Great sunset to enjoy with most hospitable team! Star gazing at night is a must. The tents are air conditioned and the ensuite showers are a highlight. The guided tours make you travel to era of the dinosaurs while you standing where they used to step millions year ago!

A quintessential outback experience! To sit and watch, glorious sunsets over this ancient land, where dinosaurs once roamed and at the same time to enjoy the accoutrements of a luxury hotel - albeit under a canvass roof, is truly unique.

Wow! Just wow! I’ve travelled the world for work but there’s few places as stunning as Rangelands that I’ve been to. Really enjoyed the outback shower. The team looked after us as if we owned the place. Top spot to unwind and reconnect with nature, great food and hospitality. Thanks, we’ll be back.

Rangelands Outback Camp
It is hard to express the absolute astonishment at the amount of effort that has gone into establishing this remote and remarkable resort. The scenery astounding, being amongst nature wonderful (without it joining you in your exquisite tent for the night), being looked after like royalty amazing, having the space and quiet to let the stresses of life or work dissipate and heal as it is carried away on the breeze, indescribable. It is a must do for any discerning travers wishing to experience the Outback in 5-star style with the most welcoming, respectful, down to earth, experienced and knowledgeable hosts. It was a true pleasure to have met some of the team and to have left feeling we had made lifelong friends. We will find a way to visit again, even if we have to go out of our way to make it happen.

RangelandsWe enjoyed our pampered stay thanks to Peter, Celine and Collin. Scrumptious cooked meals for both breakfast and dinner. Each meal was a gourmet delight- best duck we have ever tasted. Great selection of beer, wine, soft drinks, spirits and at dinner the wines were paired nicely with each meal. Our glamping tent was next level. The awesome view from our balcony, the comfy king size bed, huge shower and bathroom, reverse cycle a/c, electric blanket all made for a delightful stay. Sunset at the Mahal (meeting place) to share stories and have a drink and toasted marshmallows around the communal fire while watching magnificent sunsets makes this Jumpup (Mesa) holiday very special indeed.

Rangelands Outback Camp
We visited Rangelands in September as part of an extended family trip, booking out all of the 6 tents. Having the place to ourselves was really cool. The glamping tents were amazing, the food was superb and the views were to die for. It was our little piece of paradise for 3 precious days. Tours into Winton during the day were fun with our fave being the Age of Dinosaurs, thanks to the lovely Vicki from Red Dirt Tours. Looking at coming back next year as part of our honeymoon. xx

The Serengeti meets Outback Queensland! Rangelands has been so cleverly designed you feel like you are on a 5star safari. The hospitality is second to none and there is so much to explore. One trip is not enough and we look forward to visiting again.

Rangelands is spectacular in every way. Nestled amongst the ancient drifts these superbly appointed tents offer privacy utilising the landscape, yet maintaining breathtaking views in every direction. Enjoy the peace and quiet or explore the history of the area - there is plenty to enjoy. We will most definitely be back!
