Nobbys Lighthouse
This is a beautiful place to walk and experience nature. I walk 5 km from East End to the end of breakwall most days. Often, I see dolphins and sometimes see whales. Look out for the seals as you approach then end of the wall on the harbour side. Great spot to see the big boats being guided to safety by the tugs. I just love Newcastle.

Good walk out and up to the lighthouse, fascinating what was done to put this lighthouse here open on weekends or when a cruise ship is in port. No toilets available at the lighthouse so go before heading out

Nice walk at the top of Macquarie's Pier. The lighthouse is open Sat & Sun and has a little art gallery/gift shop with goods from local artisans.Macquaries Pier is worth the walk, as it has historical plaques on the way up.The lighthouse sits on what used to be an island, until it was cut down by nearly a third and connected to theainland as part of major infrastructure project to shape the harbour.Across the way you'll see Shipwreck Walk in Stockton, at the Northern part of the harbour. Nice views!

One of top attractions of NewCastle. It's a nice stroll to the top, provides a great view of the surrounding. It's a must visit place.

Nobbys Lighthouse
10/10 light house. It was closed, but we mostly wanted to walk down the breakwall.It's super windy towards the end of the path and has a sign saying to enter at your own risk.Small children and bikes should probably not go beyond that point.

Top spot for views of the breakwater and Newcastle beach and beyond. Nice little art gallery with some top class exhibits. Friendly staff too. Well worth a visit. Free entry as well.

Nobbys Lighthouse
Lighthouse is open for public on Saturday and Sundays and its free entry. Road to top of the light house is a bit steep. Port and surrounding areas can be seen at a higher point. No toilets, no water taps. Place is under CCTV protection.Lighthouse from far is very beautiful looking.
