Avalon Beach Public Lookout
Nice view,surf beach. Beware rocks underwater at north end of beach. Locals longboard here. Beach a bit steep and sloped due to erosion. Parking is difficult here especially in Summer but already locals park in street so finding a spot close by is usually a challenge.

Great beach to escape the busy beaches further down the northern beaches.We've come here a few times over the past couple of years and found it to be a great place for family.There's a few rock pools that the kids can explore and splash around in.Plus there's a 'normal' beach area for grown ups.The only thing to be aware of is the sand is more shelly than sandy so it'll stick to you like glue when you slap on sunscreen. We found out the hard way when trying to wash it off our child at the beach.

North Avalon surf spot. Pretty untidy, ugly too small car park.. and those absurd beach car charge levels. Was way better 30 years ago. Erosion of beach marked.

Very pretty spot, but a bit of a pain driving there from Sydney. Probably nicer to catch the ferry across from Palm Beach.

Avalon Beach Public Lookout
Spectacular views of the beach, the headlands and Surfers.It has free parking and toilets.Great place to just sit and watch.The toilets are clean, tidy and well kept.

Great views across the bay. A few benches by the beach to sit and relax and enjoy. All very clean
