Sync Energy QLD - Solar Installer in Brisbane

I have recently installed Solar from Sync Energy . Alex was very knowledgeable in helping me to choose the right product for my house. The installation went smoothly without issues. I am happy about it. I would recommend them.

We had a 7.9kw solar system (with Leapton 440w panels) and Growatt 6kw inverter as well as 18 Optimisers (due to shading issues) installed by Sync Energy at our home in September 2021. I can honestly say that we could not be happier with the performance of the system installed. Martin from Sync Energy, who helped us through the system design and setup was absolutely fantastic and everything he organised was absolutely perfect.I must also thank the installers from Sync Energy who set the system up and also registered it with NSW Fair Trading and AGL our electricity provider. Their workmanship was perfect and they were also very lovely on the day of installation.Well done to all the team at Sync Energy and we would certainly recommend Sync Energy.PS One of our friends have recently installed a 13kw system from Sync Energy and they are also so happy with the systems performance.

Well priced. Installed promptly and professionally . The electrical components installed with quality. The Growatt inverter WiFi install was very difficult and required using another device to photograph the serial number and bar code to install the mobile App. Growatt needs to look into this problem. Overall very satisfied.

Talk about the worst sales tactics, desperation to make the sale is lightly put. They will do anything and say anything to make the sale... boardering on illegal. They don't inspect the house, they don't really care about your requirements, and its all about making the most profit. Is this a company you want to trust with thousands of $$$? We didn't accept the quote over the phone so we were bombarded with SMS's, calls and emails for 3 days. When we answered a call to let them know we chose someone else, they become agressive and rude, then hung up. The same tactics used by scammers really! Do not recommend even though they were the cheapest solar we found.

my home required solar panels to be replaced and Sync Energy came back with the best quotes. we have not looked back since. Found them to be great team and they were quick to respond when we needed their help for after sales service.

I made an enquiry about solar panels and received a call from Sync Energy. I was comparing quotes, so had been interested to obtain a quote for Sync Solar. I had already had my roof measured up by another company so I knew exactly how panels I was looking to install. The sales person (M) told me I needed a 6.6kw system and I told him it wouldn't fit on my roof and that I was only looking to purchase a 16 panel system (5.91kw). He sent me an email with a photo of my roof and told me the 6.6kw system would definitely fit, and that anything less than 6.6kw would be useless and not worth buying. My partner and I live by ourselves in a small townhouse, so our electricity bills are only about $50-100 per month. M then proceeded to read from a script about how good their company was, the brands they used, and then paused at intervals to generically ask if I understood. He was too focused on reading from his script that he ignored me when I said I couldn't talk for long on the call, and then when I had questions he seemed to get thrown from what he was reading.M then said he'd speak to his manager to get a 'special deal' (put me on hold for 30 seconds) and offered me a 'special deal' only valid until close of business that day. To secure the deal I had to give him my credit card details on the spot and pay a $100 deposit. I told him I needed to read through a quote (he hadn't sent a quote) and discuss with my partner. I also reiterated that I was busy right now, which is why I couldn't speak long on the phone. He ignored me and kept pushing for my credit card details for the 'special deal'. I was firm and told him to send a quote and if I missed the 'special deal' then so be it, but I needed to read through a written quote first. I started feeling as though it was a scam when he kept pushing for my credit card details without sending a quote.After the call ended, M sent me an email telling me a 6.6kw wouldn't fit on my roof so he wasn't sending a quote, and snidely remarked that my roof 'wasn't good enough'. This was despite the fact I told him within the first few minutes of the phone call that a 6.6kw system wouldn't fit in my roof, and I had told him I only wanted 16 panels. Had he have listened to me, instead of arguing with me and telling me he had seen my roof and a 6.6kw system would definitely fit, then I wouldn't have wasted 30 minutes of my time.I am completely appalled by the rude, disrespectful service I received from the Sync Energy Telemarketer. M needs to listen to what people are saying, stop talking over top of them, and learn when to stop reading from his sales script and when to to actually talk to people authentically.I have since signed up with another solar company who actually came out to my house to meet with me and measure my roof, and I am very happy with the system I purchased through them (which significantly negates my bills).

It has now been a few months since my Solar was installed and I couldn't be happier. The customer service was great, explained the options and I didn't feel pressured to make a decision. It was a great price. The installation was booked in much quicker than I had expected. On the day, they explained what was happening, made sure I was happy with placement and ran me through the operation of the inverter and app afterwards. I now no longer pay a power bill and end up in credit each month.

I had a 6.6kw system installed with Sync Energy. Martin was very good to deal with from the beginning, and once I had made the commitment, everything happened effortlessly from there. The installers were an extremely professional and courteous group of young guys and when they arrived I mentioned how I’d prefer some panels on the Western side to the Eastern side as I am rarely up early using power because I work late into the evening. They immediately understood my concern and switched the layout to Northern and Western facing. As the install happened very quickly, I hadn’t had the time to get any spare roof tiles, but the installers were cautious and never broke a tile. The Risen panels with the Growatt inverter appear to work well and I am eager to see what my bill will be next time it arrives. My neighbour was asking me about the system and as a result of my experience, Toby is now installing a similar system with Sync Energy. Martin just sent me a thank you text message for putting in a good word for them. All in all, very happy with my system and experience, it is a clean install and works well, I’m looking forward to my next bill and happily recommend Sync Energy.
