Dave was great friendly and efficient well priced and car is fixed

Quoted my Dad who is a pensioner $120.00 to change an aerial, when we arrived to pick up the car it was $390.00. No communication prior to purchasing and installing something that is nearly 4 times the amount.Don't go there.

I was on a long car trip and the bike carrier tail light wiring broke. I could not leave town before it was fixed. Dave was able to fix it with only a one hour wait. He did an excellent job and went above and beyond with securing wiring with tape and zip ties so that wouldn’t come loose again. He could’ve charge me any amount but charged me a very reasonable amount and very kindly fitted me in first thing in the morning, despite having other jobs to do that day, so that I could be on my way safely, and legally first thing in the morning. I greatly appreciated his accommodating my urgent need.

I wish I had read these reviews before I took my car in. They were well aware of what the fault was with my car as I had explained it to them and said it would need more than just a reset but rather than fix the problem they put a bandaid (did excactly what the NRMA road side service did just so I could drive there) on it charged me $198 and said if it happens again the part will need replacing. 2hrs later it happened again. I took it too another auto electrician and now I know my car will actually be repaired and I won't be overcharged and fobbed off as they can't be bothered to do the job.

Terrible customer service at the shop. Some of the mobile guys were great but the people in the shop were not approachable or helpful. They did not function test my car after it was supposed to be fixed and I found myself later stranded because of it. It was returned to the shop to be fixed again and I never got an answer on what was wrong with it. I DON'T recommend.

Don’t go there, price is so expensive, they didn’t tell when I dropped the car and told them many times tell me the price before you start but they fixed the car after 2/3 days late and charged so expensive without asking before. If you go there they don’t tell you the price and charge at last moment whatever they want. PLEASE AWAY FROM D&M.

Have not had anything done yet after Easter

I will encourage people not to read the review that denigrates this firm. I have had nothing but excellent service , polite and accurate quotes and been treated very well. I was actually picked up by the police for my rear brake lights not working and I called in on a whim , and D&M put down what they were doing and fixed my brake lights straight away , and at a reasonable price. A totally professional service that I would recommend to anyone . Brad is a great bloke to deal with and explains everything in detail. Five stars from me . Good price on first contact, and they were helpful - but after that, they charged like wounded bulls, misdiagnosed my problem, cost me $500 and still not fixed. No concern on their part for my unnecessary outlay. Had to pay someone else to fix it. Not so helpful anymore. 'Find another auto-electrician' would definitely be my advice to anyone.
