Amazing meals cooked to perfection so we just had to go back for dessert and weren’t disappointed. Tried some local wines which were top notch. Off to the wineries tomorrow for sure!!

Food is quite ordinary pub food but they charge restaurant price. Drink is very expensive too.A bottle of ki wine supposed to be $22 around the corner in the bottle shop is double in the pub. My fish and chips was dried and overcooked. If you don't know how to cook curry, it's better not to put it on the menu. It had no favour, no herbs, only a small amount of meat and half cooked rice.

I had dinner here with family. Booked in for a table for 4. The waitress took us to a table close to the door, I asked her if she could find another table close with the ocean view, she said they are all reserved. When our food arrived, The butter chicken and rice was the worst I have ever eaten. Couldn’t eat it at all. Don’t even get me started with the Naan bread. We also ordered slow cook beef cheeks. The mash potatoes that came with it was so buttery, the beef tasted awful, too chewy. Overall we wasted 125 dollars for nothing. We could have as well just ordered pizza.

Unfortunately cant go negative rating on food. Tarragon fish stew worst meal ever had and I'm 70. About 40g of seafood in a horrible tarragon / butter liquid with 4 pieces of bread floating on top. Felt bilious most of the night until gratefully througj up. And they charged me $38 for the experience.

Food was average. A number of menu items were already sold out by 8pm, which probably were better. The garlic bread was just cheesey bread which was disappointing. Lamb racks were decent, but wouldn't have been my first choice in the menu if other items didn't sell out. Whiting was alright, but the chips were stale and sad. Honey ice-cream was OK, but not a stand out.

Lovely food with a great view. Requesting a window seat when booking doesn't seem to help much, unfortunately, but the water is easily seen from most tables. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly staff and very accommodating even though we were not guests at the hotel nor had a booking (unlike other restaurants we went to). Was craving fish and chips and it was delivered. Crumbed and cooked to perfection and the chips were AMAZING!!!

Staying at the Aurora and doing a night tour we decided to make a reservation at the restaurant. Will say we were beyond pleased with the service, food and experience. For our anniversary the floor manager gave us some complementary martinis that they had for social media photos. Food was fantastic, carbonara pasta special was creamy and delicious. Would recommend making a booking in advance as the restaurant was booked out for most of the evening.

We stayed in the hotel and dined in Zone restaurant for dinner. The food was very good. My husband and I travelled different places and countries and worked in luxury hotel abroad thus we love food. All of us 4 enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommended to visit the restaurant while in KI. The view was beautiful overlooking the sea. Ordered cocktail and it's also good. Had this cocktail in different places and even home made. The staff also accommodating and friendly.

Returned very disagreeable pork dish then berated by loud restaurant manager, rather than being discrete. Other meals OK. Nice view.
