I don't agree with the award that it's the best fish of Western Australia, it's best of the world. Delicious food, amazing ambiance and very kind staff. The owner's company was cherry on the top. He is the best and most courteous host i have met in any restaurant. The food was tasty but it was more than just a food, it was an experience which is definitely unforgettable

It is located in midst of a quiet and peaceful residential area. We were greeted with a friendly, smiling young lady staff the minute we stepped in. As it is our first time, the lady staff gave helpful recommendations, and we ordered 3 servings of fish and 1 serving of fries. Fish is so fresh and tasty. We ate up the fish quickly. We also ordered a strawberry milkshake, and it is very milky and nice.The toilet is also clean and has ample soap and paper hand towels to dry our hands.After we finished our food, the same friendly lady staff asked us how's food and we had a nice chat. Overall, we had a very happy and pleasant dining in experience. We highly recommend this dining establishment. Ocean & Paddock is the best in the west!

Had the family feast. Changed up two pieces of fish and they were good. Solid and had a nice texture.The original fish was just okay.The nuggets were a nice touch but not so much the fried dim sum and crabs ticks.Very generous servings of chips and nice service.Food was served quite promptly after we ordered.

Came for the hype and indeed its abudy place. Seems efficient and lovely staff. I would suggest a little overpriced with a single small piece of snapper costing $11. Appreciated the offer of lemon but not a fan of single use plastic - why not include it with the fish

Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Fresh and crispy fish, not too oily, battered perfectly. Chips are done just right, loved it all! Very big portions! Yum!!!

Amazing service from this young lady, very nice and polite. Food was perfect, perfect texture and perfectly cooked. Chippy vinegar was delicious and overall, had a good experience. Would definitely come here again!

Having local fish and chips in Albany during our visiting. Good customer service. The seafood Platter is great, cooked light crispy butter with 2 sauce selections for dining. The atmosphere is good.

Asked our hotel for the best fish and chips in town and these guys were recommended. A little on the pricey side, but the service and food is amazing. Great choice!

Very very impressed. It is not often you stumble across a place like this. After parking the car, the proprietor, a very happy friendly bloke, greated us at the door holding it open for us. Some people may not appreciate this but it gave me a good first impression. Inside the shop both he and the young lady behind the counter engaged in some great small talk about our experiences for the day. Ordered some battered Hapuka and a crab stick which tasted great. Didn't try the chips, was only after small snack.The shop was very nicely set out and well presented. There was a selection of local sauces, chutneys and seasoning on offer. The Spicey Carolina BBQ and the Chippy Vinegar were on the tables available to have with your meal, both tasted fantastic.Towards the end of our meal the proprietor popped over to see how our meal was and gave us some info about the sauces on the table.Great stuff, highly recommended, more places and people like this would greatly enhance the dining out experience.

no kidding when the reviews says its the best. tried the grouper and it was buzzing. meat is fresh and its delicious.the head chef (i believe) was super friendly and their staffs as well.i think the reviews speaks for itself - worth a try when visiting this town.
