Had an early dinner at The Sentinel in Port Fairy tonight and oh what a treat! We Loved it! The scallops and pork belly were a highlight as was the squid. In fact everything we ordered was absolutely perfect in every way. Best pork belly ever tasted. Friendly and welcoming staff made our whole experience a joy. Great atmosphere for a few pre dinner drinks or stay longer and enjoy the wonderful food.

Welcoming atmosphere. Nice tasting cocktails made really well. Wish the list on offer was a bit more expansive. Food menu extremely impressive, some things were sold out. Plate sizes quite large. Very friendly service from wait staff.

Drove to Port Fairy from Portland for tea. Found this place whilst walking around and called in. Decided to stay for dinner after looking at the menu. Was not disappointed.Chose the beef carpaccio which was sensational. Magnificent entree.Main meal - Portehouse medium rare with a surf and turf topping. Would honestly have eaten the surf and turf as a salad on its own. Steak cooked to perfection and the topping was unbelievable.Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Meal fantastic and service was friendly, fast and made the night enjoyable.Highly recommend coming here

A very friendly, vibrant and relaxing restaurant. Easy to make reservations, we were made to feel incredibly comfortable and welcome.Very highly recommended

Ordered the margarita pizza with burrata and 72 hour dough. What I received was depressing! Dough tasted store bought with no flavour to the pizza! Food was very expensive ($35+ for mains) and took around 40/50 minutes to be received.

Pleasant service. Nice setting and plenty of seating. Food ok. Pork belly a little dry and no flavour. The best part of that dish was the spicy salad that went with it. Wines totally over priced.

Not only an aesthetically pleasing, stylish venue, there was good food and a lovely vibe. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. As someone who frequently travels and dines solo, it was a great experience from the warm and generous staff. They have a range of dining options including bookings in a bistro, or first-in at the bar and front area.

Was passing through and was recommended this restaurant which had recently opened. Was not let down. Front bar, great entertaining area(s). Amazing character.Service was great and more importantly the food was great. We had the squid entree followed by kangaroo and mushroom risotto along with wine recommended by the host.
