I bought a Tecsun S2000 from Tecsun Radios Australia. I am happy with my purchase and thought the radio was well worth the price. I use the MW every day.Since the purchase Tecsun Radios Australia sent me regular emails. Normally I unsubscribe from this sort of thing but Tecsun Radios Australia provide such useful information about what is happening in shortwave I in fact look forward to their emails. I was able to listen to the Sydney-to-Hobart boats this year as they sailed past based on the information they provided in one of their emails.

I've been through several shortwave radios from sangean to the early prototype si4732 chinese made shortwave receiver ever since purchasing the s2000 in early 2022 have never looked back as it outshines all shortwave radios on the market todayIts combination of traditional rotary dial and direct keypad entry makes finding stations a breeze when coupled with either the tecsun longwire or MLA-30+ loop antenna opens up a whole word of shortwave radio listening in your office, study or bedroom

Nothing wrong with their service at all. Though I strongly recommend you don't buy a shortwave radio.I used to listen to them in the 90's. The bands where jammed with stations, so I thought I'd give it another go.... Now it's hard to find anything. Like a nighclub at 5am, the shortwave party is well and truly over....In fairness I have once managed to hear a station in Spain, which was very cool. Though realistical here in Sydney it's a few strong signals from China (nothing much in Australia!) and some intermittent ones from NZ, Japan and the USA... That's it...Sorry, but it's absolutely not worth it...

The S-2000 suffers greatly from very poor sensitivity issues .The FM band gets wiped out by local radio very badly with stations splsyyering up and down the band making out of area stations hard to hear or not listenable due to interference .AM band suffers from same and on Air band can hear local FM stations mixing , hoping for an update S-200 as selectivity was reasonable also S meter could use calibrating

There is no digital radio here. But I needed a pocket radio to make my exercise walks less boring. Most of the main north Asian manufacturers now focus on digital receivers. And I have had bad experiences with radios from mainland China. So I got a Tecsun PL-310ET originating in Hong Kong. Brilliant! Much better reception than I have ever had before, and, of course, more choice of stations. Thank you!

I bought the Tecsun PL880 Radio because we live on a remote property in QLD and wanted to keep up to date with the news in emergency situations. We do not have mobile phone or TV reception where we live. We ahve been able to listen to local stations and even pick up short wave stations with this radio. The sound is great and battery lasts for days. From start to finish the research, ordering and delivery has been so easy as we did it all on the Tecsun Radio Website.Highly recommend these people
