Shantara Resort Port Douglas
Shantara exceeded our expectations. Rooms were clean and spacious with everything you need. Very quiet resort which was amazing for relaxing by the pool or spacious balcony. Location was great also. Close walking distance to beach and the main strip. Service was friendly. We definitely like to stay here again

Shantara Resort Port Douglas
We stayed for a week and loved everything about Shantara. We stayed on level one in a one bedroom apartment, which was well laid out with every possible thing we could need. We loved the location being only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Pools were awesome and we spent every afternoon there relaxing and meeting many of the other friendly guests. We loved that it was adults only and will definitely be coming back again.

From the very first email welcoming my booking, I knew Shantara Resort was going to be brilliant !Beautifully located a stones throw from the main street and beach, Shantara Resort is conveniently quiet and peaceful.Our Studio Pool View room was insanely clean and presented with high standards. We loved the space and the outlook over the pool !The staff exuded kindness and courtesy, making us feel welcome and always smiling ! The resort is peaceful and tranquil and the rooms are perfect.We'll be back and have already recommended Shantara Resort to others... A special mention to Liz on the front desk. Shantara Resort Port Douglas
We loved our stay at Shantara. 1 BR apartment was spacious and well appointed with a kitchenette, full sized fridge, shower and spa bath. Our deck connected directly to the pool which was brilliant as we literally stepped outside our balcony and into the pool. Best of all it was quiet and the atmosphere very relaxed without screaming kids around, and it was within easy walking distance to the shopping/dining precinct and 4 Mile Beach. We loved our time in PD. We have now found our happy place and will certainly return. Thanks.

Shantara Resort Port Douglas
We have been staying here for years, and would never every consider anywhere else. Shantara has it all. It has all the facilities we need for an enjoyable stay however long. It's a home away from home, with full kitchen facilities, a communal BBQ and pool. The location is perfect for Macrossan St, near enough for all the shops and restaurants, but just far enough away to be nice and quiet. Best of all it is adults only, so no screaming and splashing around the pool, when you are trying to relax and read your book. Missing it already! :o)

We had the best stay at Shantara on our honeymoon. Adults only, nice and quiet fully equipped apartments so you can save a little on food and eat in. Great sized rooms with spa baths and pool views, and super close to town, 5 mins walk to all of the restaurants on the main strip. We also loved the free parking for guests!

3rd time staying here at Port Douglas. Great Place to stay. 1 Bedroom Apartment spacious was very well appointed, and immaculately clean. Great pools and BBQ facilities. Love the quiet atmosphere. Staff very helpfull with suggestions of things to do, bookings and if you need a little help with anything. Will be coming back here again next year.

Shantara Resort Port Douglas
We had 5 nights at The Shantara Resort and absolutely loved it. Minutes from town, the beach all the great eateries and the Marina. The pool, garden, and facilities are kept immaculately. Would highly recommend a stay here.
