We tried the sadya, fish curry, fish fry and beef fry on a Sunday. The food was good and the quantities were just perfect. The staff were super friendly. If you are from Kerala and you are visiting Brisbane, this place will fix your cravings.

Chicken 65 a must! Punjabi chicken was a hit also together with fish Molee. Would definitely be back and I do recommend! Lovely staff also.

We were there today ,food was good but lassi taste funny (all three we ordered).We spoke to two staff members they just ignored.

A well maintained and great service by staff. The starters esp. lamb chops (cutlets) were really good. The ghee roast was top notch. Kerala parota was perfect. Just a bit oily goat fry but the taste compensated for overall quality and taste.

I was disappointed in the customer service and deceptive prices. I was quoted a price over the phone for my order. When I arrived I paid and queried the receipt why I was charged more than what I was quoted? I showed them their take away menu they had on display pointing to the same price I was quoted. They said these are old prices. Rummaging behind the counter they then produced a dine in menu with the higher price. Dine in usually is more expensive anyway, yet they were adamant about the price increase and refused to work with me. I suggested perhaps don't quote the wrong price in the first place, and don't have out dated take away menus on display at the front counter if you expect your customers to pay more. On top of it I had to wait even longer for my order. The food was nice but the whole experience tainted. I wont be back!

Eating in, is one experience on its own. But getting delivered some times can be a whole different experience on the same meal in most cases and is not usually as good. At first glance it didn't look so great. But the paneer tikka masala did not disappoint at all, great sweet flavour and I was constantly getting a spoon full of paneer at every helping. The cheese and garlic in most case is mostly garlic and hardly any cheese, but man was this bread not only packed with both cheese and garlic it was well cooked and not the typical doughy uncooked taste. The chicken karma though was lacking on the chicken side, however the chicken that was present was tender as. Well done guys.

I had a dinner on Sunday with my friend it was my first time to be there and the food was really good not to spicy at all I love the on tray Paneer Tikka! Friendly and very active staff!

I drive past this restaurant almost everyday and so glad we finally ate here. Service 10/10. Food was so good. Had goat curry, beef korma, butter chicken. Really enjoyed these dishes but the beef korma was definitely my fav. Cheese garlic naan was super good. Will definitely go back again.

We had a dine-in experience at Kalavara. The food was excellent,that is the reason I have given them five stars.The place is nice and clean with a simple setout.Chicken Pepper was excellent, and Kerala paratha was authentic.As good as it gets.We tried other South Indian dishes, and they were spot on.We did not try any North Indian Food, so we can't comment on it.They serve alcohol at the venue, and beers are priced between $6 to $8. Not too bad.We tried fish fry and it was lovely.A fried Indian Bangda cost us $6.I would revisit the place. The wait staff was friendly.The place is located in Browns plains and is open for lunch as well.
