Blue Gum Apartments

Do not be fooled by the photos that they use to advertise their properties. The photos were definitely not accurate. We arrived to find a derelict premises, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt in the hopes that the inside of the apartment was what was advertised - it was not.We arrived at the door to the apartment to find a disgusting dirty nappy hanging from the tree next to the door. Broken plastic toys, rubbish and waste in the gardens and around the patio area.Upon entering, we were greeted with the strong overwhelming smell of chemicals and air freshener. The walls were dirty and stained, the floors were so sticky our shoes stuck to them - no way were any of us taking our shoes off!When checking the rooms we found disgustingly stained bed linen and pillows, beds that may as well have been concrete blocks for how comfortable they were. No cupboard doors, a dirty kitchen and questionable bathrooms. There was no way in hell I was allowing my children to step foot in there let alone sleep in this pit.When we called to complain, my husband was immediately put on hold and left there. We had to hang up and call back to get someone to speak to us. Their initial suggestion was to send someone around to tidy a bit more and offer us a small percentage discount off of our stay. We refused and demanded a refund because there was no way in hell that a quick tidy up could save this situation.0 out of 5 stars, 100% would not recommend to anyone. Absolutely disgusting.

PLEASE READ we thought this was going to be a good experience but how wrong were we . It started with burning my hand on jug because lid wouldn't close. As in pic .notice only had 1 spoon ? .Had to fix shower because it was unusable .air conditioner switched of remote wasn't even same brand . Went to open windows blinds didn't work and flyscreens in cupboard as in pics other room didn't even have a blind place became very hot after this noticed how dirty place was . Power points in hall was haning of wall . I travel a bit and was appalled by the conditions this place is in .PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE . LOOK ELSEWHERE

Do not stay even it's offered free! No drainage in shower, standing in dirty water pond while showering. Water run to whole bathroom.... disgusting. My kid had a fall from wet bathroom.no tv remote, no bathmat.very poor customer service,called for remote and been told someone will look at it very soon, no body came ever. Never ever come back neither recommend. Very dirty smelly old old old place.

Would definitely not recommend this place, Booked 3 nights stay thinking it was nice from the photos online! when arrived had to ring to get check in details because we hadn't received them! The foyer door didn't even lock so no point in putting the code in! there was no bin to put rubbish in, There was no other blankets the lounges were ripped, there was no curtain or blind on the back sliding door!

The apartment was putrid and insect infested. Sheets were so stained that we had to strip beds and sleep on towels. They do not answer the phone or emails. They are not interested. Foul.

It was absolutely flithy, door didn't close properly, all taps leaked even the toilet ran constantly. There was a drain cover missing in the courtyard that my 83year mother nearly fell through. This property has not been maintained in years. Should be shut down to come up to spec

OMG, don't stay there !! All reviews in the past have been very more than accurate !! Grose yuk!! It's a half way house that isn't cared for in any shape form or matter !! Trolleys everywhere ,mould , power sockets hanging out which is very unsafe ...cleaning well ,well no cleaning !! And I could still smell the place on me yukkk ......

Blue Gum Apartments was the most appalling accommodation I have ever come across in my life and my world wide travels.The apartment we were offered absolutely stank of old cigarette smoke, the couch was split open at the seams and the whole apartment needed a thorough clean from head to toe with disinfectant. I had two young children with me and we started having irritated lungs after being there for less than 10 minutes.We left promptly and found alternate accommodation elsewhere that was both clean and welcoming.
