Very affordable- I got snow board and boots for $90 for 2 days. They open long hours so flexibility in terms of picking up and dropping off is convenient. They have a large collection of stuff to hire for both skiing and snow boarding. They also sell equipment/clothing as well. Service was really good, and efficient in finding the right fit. Online preordering was easy- make sure you do this to get a discount

First time coming here, was recommended by friends as a go to for rentals. They have a lot of ski & snowboard options and sizing. The staff was very friendly.They helped me through sizing of my snowboard boot sizes, then helped adjust my snowboard as well to ensure it fit me properly. Very friendly and helpful throughout the process. Would recommend coming here for your rentals!

After I took the rental snowboard the top of the mountain I realized the binding I was given was broken.I called the monster depot and one of the lady was very apologetic and told me to get it fixed at threadbow on their cost. - which was responsible good service. It sounded like she cared.I risked riding down the slope very nervously to get the binding fixed and payed $20 for a gentleman who got it fixed for me. This was painful.However when I brought back the board at 11:30 8th September to the monster depot, I brought back the old snapped binding and the new one back to them, and told the staff members what happened.People who were there WASN’T apologetic at all or cared about what happened. They kept saying “It shouldn’t cost $20 it’s only 50c for us!!!!” and refused to pay $20 as I didn’t have paper print out of receipt even though I showed the digital one which says “ski repair 20 backs”Now,it might be a matter of $20 for them but not for me at all.Everything cost more than $20 at Thredbow anyway. I really don’t care.What’s matters for me is that it’s a serious safety issue and the fact NON of the staff member(except for the one who picked up the phone) here didn’t acknowledge how serious it could have been, and cared about what happened. Just cared about $20.This was the big problem for me.Old gear?? Yeah fine with me. As long as it’s been taken care of and safe to ride. But it didn’t feel so here with the level of care here.I don’t usually write reviews but I’m writing this to let the owners of the business know what happened.Therefor one star.Lucky I didn’t get injured and decided to sue the business.

Great customer service, great range of snow gears. First time here, would definitely recommend. Restroom could be better. Staff seems to have conflicting rules" and gets stressed out when servicing big tour groups. Still

Good value and nice services. The staff helped us to find the perfect sizes of all the equipments and explained clearly of how to wear them as this is my very first time to ski. However the clothes especially pants wasn’t really waterproof so if someone looking for waterproof pants or jacket maybe should mention it to them in advance or prepare your own.

The staff are friendly. Reasonable price. We were there as a tour group so they have complimentary tea/coffee set up for us. Nothing fancy, Just instant sachet one which is okay. Restrooms could be nicer though

Staff clearly don’t want to be working here. Terrible service. Bought a Groupon voucher which clearly is not worth it as you cannot use it for more than one person and ski hire is well less than $100. So a $55 voucher isn’t actually worth $100 credit.To be clear, as you are trying to make my negative review look better for you. I did ask about having it refunded, they said I’d have to check with Groupon and they wouldn’t do it. I then said I’d have to check that before we can proceed. I asked again if they knew how to do that and they said I’d have to check that myself.Our friends ended up getting their gear from this place as they too had already bought vouchers. Only to be told that one person couldn’t get two sets (board and ski). They didn’t need much gear so was again not great value for money and the gear was old.I honestly don’t believe I was childish, just a consumer wanting a pleasant experience and assistance for my family to hire skis when we have never done this before.This didn’t make for a pleasant experience.Ended up going back into town to sentinal, amazing staff, brand new gear and the same price with 20% off code. Genuine 20% off.Highly recommend if you want good quality brand new gear each season.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Apart from the boots and pants we hired were all super comfy and warm; but, the highlight was their customer service. We'd an issue with the return as initially we were charged for an extra pant. We missed to check the receipt while picking up the items. But upon our return and explaining the situation they immediately rectified it and issued us a refund on the spot. The staff were very friendly. We were served immediately by multiple staff members so we were out fast. Would surely visit them during our next visit.
