Salamander Bay Recycling

Used to be very good and a community resource , offering well priced items that had been donated, and giving hope and training to unemployed. Now takes itself much too seriously, positioning itself as some kind of artsy antique shop. You're not. Its still donated goods and I dont know if you are helping the unemployed anymore or just bloated management. Shame how it's changed.

Would not recommend ever dealing with this company. Very unprofessional and difficult to deal with. They offer little pick up options and despite providing our address on three occasions they still got it wrong. Instead of ringing when they couldn't find our home they just left without even letting us know. They knew we had taken time off work to wait for them and they didn't even have the decency to call us. We will now have to dispose of good furniture into a skip bin. So unprofessional, give them a great big miss!

I love this place. The people that work there are absolutely wonderful and I can always find something to purchase.

Interesting place to visit if you have scrap metal, old wares and even to update something from the store if yours looks a little tired. Prices are great and all money goes to charity!!

Went there today and went to buy a normal tall white washing basket the ones u get from Kmart for $7 the lady tried charging me $8 I mentioned to her that you can buy them new for $7 and all she says is you can try.Not happyThis place is a recycling center she didn’t even try to negotiate with me all she gave me was attitude.

The recycle shed as like a big openmarkets they have lots of different things lots of Rangers and two big sheds they now have outside the door a little coffee shop I was speaking to him yesterday and he said he'd be there till at least Christmas so if you're going over past the recycle centre call in and have a look around grab a coffee and they smelled really nice I did not have a coffee because I don't drink coffee but like I said it did smell really nice so I hope you enjoy your visit to the recycle centre and pick up some good little bargains the staff there are really helpful and they always have different things coming in there each week so it doesn't matter how many times you drive past is always something different to look at from mwh

Great store. Great place. If you are visiting Soldiers Point you should certainly pop your head around the door as there is loads of awesome stuff. I even got some cool plants and pots which is hard to do in a a recycling centre as they tend to go quick.

Some fantastic finds at very reasonable prices. They had a bit of everything there, CDs, dvds, books, antiques, home wares, hand tools, etc. They even had boat motors and a bathtub the day I was there.

I love this place! You can find all sorts of treasures here, from furniture to knick knacks, for very reasonable prices. There is a fee if you need things delivered but again very reasonable.
