This review relates only to the service division of Gippsland Land Rover - our experience with Charlie (sales) was excellent. We purchased a service package when we bought our brand new Disco Sport a few years ago. For the first few services, everything was terrific. We’d call, book a service, a few days later someone would call, they’d drop in a courtesy car, take ours, service and return within 24 hours. We were rapt and raved to anyone who would listen about how great this dealership was.Last August during lockdown we were due for a service. The friendly person said no servicing was being done due to limited travel around the State. No worries. He suggested I call back when restrictions eased. No problem. I called late October, was told service was busy and they’d call me back. No-one did. Tried again, someone called Josh said he’d find out when a service spot was available and call me back. I waited 3-4 weeks, no call. So I called again. The chap I spoke to apologized and booked it in for service. January 20 he said. No problem. January 20 came and went, no call, no service. Called the dealership a few days later, and was told Adam would call me back. Nearly another week has passed and guess what? No call. My car tells me I need a service every time I start it. What do I do? I’ve tried. Shame how Gippsland Land Rover can go from being ‘above and beyond’ to ‘below and less’ in a few months.

Had my 2015 evoque here for a major service. Unfortunately the technician made a mistake and the timing of the engine was out. This resulted in many parts of the engine needing to be replace (they paid for this). I feel for the technican for not being trained correctly. These cars are very difficult to service and I feel that the person employing the service staff needs to rethink the level of skill of the staff they’re employing. I was without my car for 6 months. It has never been the same since. I wouldn’t recommend having your car serviced here.

Gippsland dealer Selling defective cars , Bought brand new demo car range rover vela 2021 , due to local down we were not able to visit the showroom, however we trust on branded name only though very good company and paid a big amount without checking the car. Very excited to have our brand new car to be arrived , but first impression cars having many scratches inside and outside. I took the photo and sent it to the sales manager. In reply they will fix it after lockdown.I agreed to avoid our bad feeling. Same day we realised the auto lock wasn’t working, no smart remote access. So they ordered a new one for us and agreed to install it after lockdown . After few weeks later Suddenly we started facing problems with phone connectivity , air conditioning and the auto window stop working. We have to follow-up many times but never received a call back to arrange all issues. Again after two days later the car completely stopped working , like no operation at all. So we rang Range Rover road service assistance to arrange a tow away car to the nearest dealer. Just 1 and half months and all problems started from day one.Next day I made a follow up call to the Essendon dealer and there was no update on what was happening with my car . So I have to call the head office for help. Later on I got a call from the Essendon dealer that the car has arrived and will be looked at on Saturday and update on the same day. However I waited a full day on Saturday and I did have to call back to the dealer , upon checking I was informed that no service staff was working on Saturday . completely a liar and wasted my 1 week for nothing. Few days later i got a call back from Essendon, dealer that After replacing new battery, car still not working, their is major issue and need further diagnose. I have to follow up with a three person -head office, Essendon, and Gippsland ranger rover. None of them was giving proper information and willing to take responsibility . Two week wasted for nothing , we were so frustrated and stressed with such behaviour. Finally I have to send a legal email for a refund or to replace the new car . Upon reply they started making all excuses for second key. i am in four weeks now and I am still paying every day $50 of my loan repayment and I don’t have refund or replace car in my hand. This is a range rover service, This company repairing new defect car and selling as demo vehicle. I am done and left my hope on god.I regret that I spent such a big amount on a big branded car and received a defect car. Never trust this company's.waste of money. rather i would spend on $10,000 car would be more valuable.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Call today, twice to get an update on my warranty issue and service. They have had my brand new Defender for almost 3 weeks.I called twice today to speak with Sam, the “ Service Assistant “ and twice, with 2 hour intervals, my calls were not returned. Heidi, the receptionist is vey well trained in customer bullsh*t. Twice I got the same excuse. “He must be with a customer “. What am I then? A pork chop? 100% disappointed.I highly recommend you do not buy a car from Gippsland Land Rover.You’re welcome, you can thank me later.
