Alfresco Italian Restaurant
I came here more than 5 years ago and the food was amazing., Decided to have it again when I visited surface paradise last month and was so disappointed. Paid twice the amount than a normal fast food pizza shop. Their claimed authentic pizzas that weren't even woodfire pizzas served frozen prawns. I have had fast food pizzas where the prawns were not frozen and that small. Honestly my partner and I were so disheartened and disappointed that we straightaway went to order back up food (KFC and Hungry Jacks). The mushroom entree, described as whole mushrooms stuffed with cheese, ended up being mushroom meatballs in some bland pasta sauce (seriously lacked basic salt and pepper).

Excellent customer service and fantastic food!Love the vibes of this restaurant it’s hard to find in GC, wait staff were super chill, polite and welcoming. we were impressed for first time visiting.thank you again.

Been here so many times now, we come all the way from Brisbane to Surfers just for their food. Delicious and fresh ingredients, amazing service, and reasonable prices. I do wish the carbonara was egg not cream but probably to cater to the Aussie taste buds - still yum! Approved by an Italian!

Loved the food. More than that, loved the customer service. It's hard to find such great service in a city that is rushing to accommodate one tourist after another.Fab and Hannah, a great appreciation to your service. Fab was literally fabulous, living up to his name. Thanks guys for letting us in at the last hour and still providing the 5 star service.

We dined at Alfrescos in a large group and whilst we had to wait awhile for our table they were pretty decent about allowing us to split the bill. The venue itself is kind of split across two buildings and where we were situated was very dark. I enjoyed the food though, a yummy pink sauce prawn fettuccine pasta for main and some delicious pizza bread for entree. A classic Italian family run restaurant

Excellence food, service and atmosphere. Ordered cheesy garlic bread, x2 meatball fettuccine and a creme caramel. I can’t fault anything. Staff were lovely and those meatballs were fantastic. Will definitely be coming again when we’re down on the Gold Coast.

Alfresco Italian Restaurant
This is the best Italian restaurant we've had in Gold Coast. The service was unbeatable, staff were so friendly and attentive. The food is way beyond our expectations and great value for money. Both the pizzas and pastas were delicious and a good portion. Highly recommended if you like Italian food. :)

Our first visit to Alfresco and we were super impressed! The staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing felt like too much for them. The food was beautiful, great sized portions and excellent presentation. The restaurant decor was lovely and it was nice and warm inside on a cool evening. We will be back again soon!

Surfers Paradise ItalianThis is an alfresco restaurant in touristy Surfers Paradise and unfortunately we happened to visit during a heat wave so it wasn't a comfortable dining experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive and our meals arrived quite quickly. My husband and I shared a garden salad, lasagne and boscaiola. The food was okay but not remarkable, but it was reasonably priced and BYO wine was a plus.

Alfresco Italian Restaurant
I decided to give it a try after reading your review, and it turned out to be an average Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. The food was neither good nor bad, and I couldn't really distinguish the difference between their pizza and frozen supermarket pizza. The creamy pasta was generously sauced, but the tongs they used to serve the pasta weren't properly cleaned.
